I don't like this song being put with Len x Kaito. I have nothing against yaoi, but I still hate that pairing. I feel like it's merely the product of obsessive fangirls pairing up the only wo guys they could get their hands on.
@happygoluckyhedgehog You do know how many Vocaloid boys there are, right? We like this pairing because they're cute, not because they were the only ones
Yes, m'am...! First part is Hetarenka, then Ikerenka, Tsunderenka, Maserenka, Yanderenka, and the soon-coming-but-STILL-not-here-yet Nakirenka. I'm pretty sure that's the order... ;]
The lyrics for Nakirenka has been up for several months, but I suppose ReReRe P (the composer) is still working on other things... So it might take a while. But, it might even be up tomorrow for all I know! :D
Neeever mind. I found them all (except Nakirenka, ofcourse xD)
So the names are Hetarenka (useless love song?) Ikerenka (Short love song?) Tsunderenka (tsundere love song?) Maserenka (no idea :D) Yanderenka (sick love song, agressive love song?)
Hetare - useless, as in they try so hard but always manage to mess up. Ikerenka is actually wrong. I wrote a explanation in the previous comments of this video. Please read those ;]
Tsundere characters act as if they hate the main character (not even act, more like actually do), but eventually warm up to them.
Um, I actually have no idea on Maserenka as well. xD I need to ask some friends. :3
Yanderenka is right. Lovesick to the point of brutality and violence.
No, this is not an anime. :-/ It's VOCALOID, a singing program that you can use on the computer to make songs, with libraries of voice samples from humans. There is a manga, though. It's not really a based story line; practically a one-shot to each chapter :P It's called "Hatsune Mix".
and a side note: the Japanese language does not have the L sound, so they replace Ls with Rs. The Rs use the tip of your tongue to flick the roof of your mouth, creating a "L" sound almost close to a soft D.
Rin and Len are hard to work with at times. Len has a very good strong male voice for those loud songs. For soft songs, I go with Miku. Rin I manly use as backup singer. I had her sing a small part in my video and it came out pretty good. I might have her sing a little more next time.
Personally, I think Rin is good for holding high notes, so yeah, she fits in loud songs. Miku can do anything, because Miku is amazing. :) I really like those (very few) songs where Len has a very low pitch. It makes him sound older, and it has a stronger impact.
You should checkout my Vocaloid 2 videos. I have Miku, Len and Rin singing. Took me a long time to get their English down perfect, or to a point where it's near perfect.
I think you'll like Len the most singing Beauty School Dropout. He's perfect for that song.
FFF<3 yess. I wonder if there's an instrumental out for thiss.

@IceThunder68
I have no idea how this would be yaoi in the slightest.
Or even yaoi-related.

@FloatingMist There's a PV featuring the original version of this song that's sort of yaoi slash of Len and Kaito.
And honestly, so what? A song cant be yaoi. If it sounds good, keep listening.

An explanation on the title "Ikerenka":
This is three puns in one:
1. "Ikemen" is Japanese slang for a hot guy ;D
2. "Len" is his name :]
3. "Renka" is Japanese for "love song"
and a side note: the Japanese language does not have the L sound, so they replace Ls with Rs. The Rs use the tip of your tongue to flick the roof of your mouth, creating a "L" sound almost close to a soft D.
FloatingMist 3 years ago
Well Len is hot xD and his forte is love songs xD
Twilight14Vampire 2 years ago 27
Ohh, thanks for the explanation! I thought it was short love song 'cause I found it somewhere.. xD
