Very well done video, most of Beatles clichés are there. My fave parts are the ride thru' Penny Lane Street & the references to PAPERBACK WRITER and BUNGALOW BILL
Some people seem to get upset when people either Joke (or are serious) about the "Paul is dead legend". But this video is another example of that legend being kept alive (The car crash, four cops in a row, Lennon standing in the B.g.), by none other than the members themselves.
So I wouldnt be so quick to jump peoples cases when they bring it up or joke about it. It really is part of the Beatles mythos.
I notice something new every time I watch this music video!!! That's John sitting in the chair at 3:04 from that time where they're telling him, "Get up, John" and he yells, "Okay!!!" :O :D
I love the Beatles beyond belief, but why on earth did they resort to working with Joe Pytka and Madison Avenue to make their big reunion video? When the Beatles were the Beatles, they relied on artists and filmmakers of the time to make their promo films. Why on earth sell out at such a late date to pytka and the sleazy world of advertising? So, so sad.
I know for their release on iTunes, there was a contest to name all the references on this video. The problem is that you saw so many references, that I couldn't name them all. What were the references? No Times needed, just the references.
@buttanife420 Well, it's either a representation of George Harrison and his love of playing the ukulele, or his inspiration, George Formby- listen to the last bit of the song in reverse, and you'll hear Formby's well known catchphrase "Turned out nice again".
This chokes me up & makes me think of John's & George's lives flashing before them when they left. I like the song references like the 2 people carrying a picture of Chairman Mao (Revolution) & the man with his typewriter (Paperback Writer.) I was in 1st grade in 1964 & enjoyed their music while growing up during the '60s. Music unites us as members of the human family. It crosses barriers of language & culture. I pray that John & George were at peace with Father God when they departed.
THIS MUSIC IS GREAT !!!

@powertriofan3 What really gets me near the end is "Martha My Dear" (Paul's sheep dog) bounding across the screen.

In the end of the video, George should not be there? Because He Plays the ukelele!
