top end on the z06 is sick,i have one a 2007 and on the highway so far nothing has even come close,no gtr no ferrari 430 ,no gallardo,not even a 2010 porsche 911 turbo,the porsche gave me the best run so far but was still 4 cars behind from 100 to 300 kmh.
Although that is the only Porsche I would ever own, the car did very good. For some reason even though those Porsches are RWD they launch like a bat out of hell.

A non modified Z06 would have been easily beaten in this race against the GT2.

@faisal3981 you're a fucktard. you have no idea what you're talking about obviously when it comes to cars. the 997 gt2 has twin turbos which put out 612 hp whereas the c6 z06 has an american small block that puts out 430. the porsche obviously is going to have the z06 off the line but from a rolling start most cars cant beat a vette. especially the supercharged LS9 in the ZR1 which puts out 640 hp.

You didn't line the cars up evenly (Porsche was half a car ahead at start each time). And your honk counts were spaztic to throw the Vette driver off. And yet, the Z06 walked you. Awesome. Try that with a ZR1. It gets even worse for the Porsche. xD BTW: That camera guy makes people puke. lol

Seriously... the 80km run clearly shows the Z06 spinning all through 2nd. That is a clear indication that with good tires the gt2 would of gotten whooped by even more. Also, no offense to oman but that diablo "tune" is really holding him back. They literally do NOTHING TO extract more power out of these cars, that is an easy 15-20rwhp left on the table. With a tune, he doesn't have to deal with the finicky stock calibration especially in the heat they run over there. CYA haterZ!
