@japujuju Nah it is even then pretty easy if you do just missions for king and get relation to 100. I have done that. Then its easy. But do all that and try to get whole world BY YOURSELF, ON HARDEST WITHOUT CHEATS. Thats a challenge I think to date no-one has gotten trough.

@allabalooza The game is good just don't play with cheats though. It'll make the game boring and repetitive. Wait till early April to get the nwe version mount & Blade: Warband. This new version features multiplayer, refine graphics, and alot more better single player.

Hey man, I've been using cheats and I've got over 100 hours of gameplay (I know, no life ect.) And out of playing it, I've put so many troops in one city, I've gotten up to 13 thousand troops.

All upgraded to the max..

its dark knight armour, u cant buy the armour, u can loot them once u defeat dark knight,

dark knight is a hidden troop type in native 1.011, u cant get them in native 1.011,but most mods active dark knight, and they will appear in steppe bandits.

Great gameplay + bad graphics = Still Good, Fun Game

all graphics do is to please your eyes, after few hours youll get tired of it,

This is to help people know how to build army.

1. recruit villagers or buy mercenaries.

2. train them by leading them to battle against enemys.

3. feed them (of course)

4. Upgrade you leadership for more party space

5. upgrade them when they level.

6. HAVE FUN :D

How to serve the king? Now I'm just wandering around, killing bandits, stealing cattle and so on. I once got a chance by some castle but the King said he needed 8 troops which I got only 6. And I missed the chance. :(

well there are 2 options 1 is to take a castle or something and become your own king and the second is to search for a king and join

first of all THIS GAME IS NOT MULTIPLAYER THEREFORE NOT DAMN ONLINE! and yes you have to pay for a LICENSE KEY to be able continue the game after lvl 8-which is the limit for the trial version but i think you should wait for Darkfall thats coming soon(i think) its pretty much the MMO version of Mount&Blade which is AWESOMEEEE!!!!

The only way to do it is with a two-hander on a mount. Just a while ago I witnessed the "coolest" death I've ever seen, it was some random deserter, but first I hit him at full speed with my horse, and the horse hit him in the stomach/chest area with the front left knee, sending him flying a bit in the air.
