People have said it does and it fits my alienware mx17r3 great which is a huge laptop.

Also I'd disregard the below comment, the laptop not only fits snug into the compartment but there's padding in the bottom of that compartment in addition to the padding at the bottom of the bag and the heavy duty rubber shock absorber type padding underneath the bag below all of that padding.

If you're hearing your laptop hit the floor you must be spiking the shit like you scored a touchdown.

I have this bag, but I want my money back. It doesnt protect the laptop. There's a thin strip of padding at the bottom which is insufficient to protect the laptop. Most of the time when i set my laptop down, i can hear my LAPTOP hit the floor.

I've been debating getting this for months, someday i'll have to take the plunge. Lots of $ for a bag though is all that holds me back. From what I hear its worth it.
