Um, Ernie Anderson died in 1997. That year, Charlie Van Dyke became the voice of KOMO 4, one year before Al Vannk became the voice of KOMO 4 until 2008.

Al had a mimi stroke, KATU still has him but his voice is a bit different or less intense.

I'm going to guess that since a lot of stations are dumping him at the same time that he jacked up his rates. This is the guy they've used for a while on KOMO 1000 News for a while.

Um, Eric Gordon is the voice of KOMO 1000 Newsradio. The current voice of KOMO 4 who replaced Al Vanik is the former voice of KCPQ-13 Fox: Brad Abelle.
