Nice race, fast is mostly rider but a good platform helps. I had a 06 gsxr 1000 but sold it unfortunately. 4 months later got a 04 cbr1000rr and although the power band seems softer it's still a dam fast bike. did a few mods and haven't looked back.

Both are amazing bikes. Launching a bike from a standstill is no simple task. Can take years to master. I have an 09 gsxr 750 and I have a lot of respect for honda. Ive driven the 08 cbr 1000. Its got balls=)

And that little length those two bikes have between can be everything from the driver

to missing a gear. So you have to come up with more then this to convince me.

@lflgilf Makes no difference if the CBR has and exhaust. With equal riders the GSXR smashes the CBR. The GSXR runs the 1/4 almost 1/2 second faster, traps about 6mph higher and has a +10mph advantage on the top end. Of course most of that - except the huge top speed advantage - can be overcome if the CBR rider is more skilled than the GSXR rider. But, like I said, with equal riders the race isn't even close, the GSXR is that much quicker and faster.
