  • nice but can you make a video of the theme song where you your feelings tell about the music???

  • excellent piece of analyses. What else have you analysed? you are brilliant ,thank you.

  • subbing!

  • Anyway, this is not even near the most complex-accessible thing I've ever heard. 11-tone equal temperament is often considered atonal and dissonant; but go to split-notes . com, go to the album "Transcendissonance" and listen to the last song on the album. It will change the way you think about music, I promise.

  • Great analysis! I've always said that a great composer can make the most obscure ideas seem accessible, and the most banal and mundane elements seem fresh and exciting. And here you actually give some examples of how that is possible. (besides just being a great composer, haha)

  • verdadero orgullo argentino! je.

  • what about the limp bizkit version? Faggots...

  • @ElusiveHermit lololo

  • Loves the approach...

  • AABA!

  • Great idea and beautifull analysis. Thank you

  • This is just great, man if you do another analysis let me know please, thank you!

  • Dear Pete,

    Fantastic work, really lovely clip.

  • Ah yes Tim, that air of mystery and action. What is it about the semitone movement that creates that?

  • @pwhitfield Ahh reminds me of the PS2 game Sly Cooper :D you know that movement ^^

  • Nice one Pete. Might I add the following.

Its no coincidence the dropping semitone line (in your example E to E flat to D to C (suggested) followed by a similar dropping line G sharp to G to F sharp to F (suggested) is used in a lot of "action suggesting music" - Bond Themes are a good example.
