I was a paid attendee, but information changes resulted in my missing the pool party. After sending four emails asking about the off-site location, the one email I received back, did not answer my question. I admit missing the location link at the bottom of the August 1st message (in small print). A brief reference to that link or simple address in the lone email I received (before the partyt), would have prevented my missing the party and losing $350 on an unused ticket. Friday was fun.

@LaserParody I agree, all the hidden fees pretty much cost us the venue, and the Silverton was quick enough to accept us very last minute. Plus, a lot of the VIPs and mermaids couldn't come for personal reasons, cutting down the budget.. It still went pretty well though. And you won an award Traci! :)

I'm an FX guy, just starting athletically built tails of a custom manufactured heavier than water wet suit.... this screw up from shady ol' unprofessional Las Vegas cost me over 18 grand. I AM very angry with them and upset. Angry enough at you to be angry at them for you too. Keep busy... things will gear up... keep that in your mind, and focus... busy will follow.

In my personal experience dear traci, I organize anime events here in my city, and sometimes you have the place for your event and in the last minute (two weeks, or like happen to me once, 3 days before) they tell you you can't use tha place anymore :(
