I have a 110 lb rottie. He had his back leg amputated. One of the hardest things was him being able to get around on our tile and pergo floor. I got Paw Tectors at petco or petsmart and they have seriously saved us. He doesn't slip or fall when he is wearing just one paw tector on his "good" back leg.
I have those boots, too. I see you put some socks on him before the boots; would those make the boots more comfortable? I have a front-leg tripod (Redd), he wears his boots when we run in the winter, but he always licks his paw afterwards. Just want him to be as comfortable as possible!
Yes, the Ruff Wear socks will help make the boots more comfortable and easier to put on while insulating in cold weather and absorbing sweat in the heat. We'll be adding them to the gear.tripawds (.com) web shop soon!
