I'm assuming you guys/girls haven't driven in the v8 Genesis but if you want to hear the engine your have to floor it, the cabin is so quite you can't hear anything hence the music. The only time your hear the v8 is when it comes to the straight away, luxury car owners don't want to hear the roar of the a v8 sadly.
