Hey I also got this Ultra Oleophobic screen protector for my iphone 4. Just letting you know they did some revisions on the screen protector. On your movie, if you noticed by the front camera and the earpieace, the middle is not covered in between, and is exposed. But with the new one, it is covered. I'm sure you get what I mean what I'm trying to say.

How scratch resistant is the oleophobic screen shield? I am trying to decide this or the BodyGuardz front and I wanted to know your opinion.

@Niloc1922 Sorry for not getting back sooner,As for the coating on this SS i have not experienced any sort of scratching,As for the like's of BodyGuards,You will suffer with what's commonly known as Orange Peel Effect in the end result,BG's are one of the better company's who seam to have this issue under control by minimising that effect and they do peal easier after install,Less compatable with many case's if you use them that is :) Hope this has helped you :)

Do you get any rainbow effect when looking at the screen?? I've installed my on my iPhone and do get a rainbow effect on both screen protectors. I tried them both to check if one was defected. You only get the rainbow effect when you look at it at a certain angle.

@ogbilal Hi,as for rainbow effect,Make sure the screen is clean free from grease of any kind(Alcahol Wipe work's best for me),If you have done this already and your still getting a "Rainbow" Effect then all i can say is that you have a deffective SS,I'm sure that if you contact SGP directly,They will help sort out a replacement,other than that you should not be getting the rainbow effect if you follow the step's as i have described,I don't suffer that issue when i have used SGP's product's :).

Hi, I've done everything you told me. I watched this video before I even got the screen protectors and followed your advice. I've emailed SGP about my situation but I don't expect to get a reply because I've heard there customer service isn't good. Anyways I'll have to live with it. Thanks for replying.

I fined when i play games on the 4g with no screen protector my thumbs will stick and grip the screen, dose this screen shield stop that?

is this screen shield the same as ultra crystal but just has oil resistant coating bcoz im getting either crystal or oleo n i dont want to get oleo if not as crystal as ultra crystal. thnx for the vid

@carlos0on0drums to try and answer the best way i can,I would say this,The Ultra Crystal has no anti-fingerprint properties so if you use this one you will find it harder to remove the fingerprints be it that it will come clean eventually it's designed to be basic as in just clear,where as the oleophobic has a smoother surface with the same coating as what is already on the Iphone's screen anyway,The Oleophobic wipe's away very easy and become's clear instantly compared to the Normal Ultra Clear

Hmm very interesting screen shields there Adrian, I really don't know what the difference is, I use a screen shield included with the acase and so far no issues, the cutouts are the same as the sgp one but i lined up everything right. Nonetheless great video very informative, keep it up m8
