More objects and textures in screen (see the floor st the beginning of the video), better lighting effects (see the flashlight), sharper and more detailed textures, farther objects are visible, better and smoother physics in the movements (hair movement, snow movement, etc).

Yes I have an Wii but I have a PS2 too and I like it but in this game the wii version is better in many things

The PS2 version actually holds up pretty damn well. I don't mean compared to the Wii either, but rather in general! Not bad at all for a 10 year old (at the time) console! Just another reason why the PS2 is arguably the greatest home console ever released.

@PersonaBrazil Yes the Wii version is better, the Wii is a lot more powerful than the PS2. I have a PS2 and a Wii, and in person, Wii games do look a lot better. The viewing distance is farther, there are more polygons, the colors are more precise, there are higher frame rates, and there is a lot more content in the Wii version of this game. But hey, the Wii came out in 2006, and the PS2 came out in 2000, so you can expect the Wii version to look better.

Just look at that- The PS2 graphics service perfectly well. I'd rather graphics like those if it meant devs could cut down on time and cost- meaning more risks could be taken, and a greater variety of products available for consoles. It's a shame the masses automatically reject a game for it's visuals...

Well, obviously Wii is better because its a seventh generation console and PS2 is a sixth generation, so it should be compared with PS3! We should also consider that PS2 is 10 years old, and Wii just 4 years. So I can say PS2 still doing its job perfectly.

PS2 doesnt handles many shadows(inside rooms it uses simple shadows), drawing distance, textures, or ice effects(harry in the last scene for ps2 cant evenn cast his own shadow). But given the ps2 limits, it was really good.For wii it was also nice to be honest, i liked it.

Yes wii came later, and obviously is more powerful, even the cube which didnt came later was(check RE4 comparison).But for some crazy reason some people think they are the same.

@roymaster45 Yeah, I was just about to get this on PS2 sometime in the future, because I don't really care for the Wii motion controller, but DAMN!!! You're right! I am not usually too picky about graphics myself, but SHIT!!! It must be 1999 again with these ps1/n64 quality graphics on the ps2 version of the game. I think I might just suck it up and learn to play the Wii version. Not only is everything brighter in the Wii version, there is a TON of more detail.

both plataforms has similar graphics, the main difference in the short draw distance in PS2 and the lower textures... the rest looks like the same to me.

the graphics dont really matter although some games do have to have it, but its the real gameplay that matters, thatswhy the wii is the better game it takes advantage of the motion controls almost to a t but the only thing that annoys me is that when the monsters gets u u have to sake them off which is a pain but all in all its a good prototype for whats to come next.

Also, the PS2 can look so much better than depicted in this vid. The reason it doesn't is because it's a port from the Wii version, so translating the game from Wii to PS2 instead of taking the time to rebuild it is gonna cause some problems.
