*I put you in my Super list * Super heros *

  • @ThePolypop it's "Heroes".. not "Heros".

    Weak...

  • @TheJARhead1995 .. weak.

  • @wildfire04j This "hook" blows.

  • @comichero Yeah! But it's more annoying than anything!

  • @wildfire04j Yes.. it sure it. The theme song for potentially getting the shit kicked outta you for NOT shutting the fuck up.

  • @comichero HAAHAH i can only laugh!

  • "Life" is totally not gay.

  • @onemoreturn He is...

  • Look at these egotistical jerkoffs

  • where's this TV show u speak of MTV?

  • Um... NOT Superheroes. Sorry.. BAD Cosplay bleeding hearts.

Look, RATHER than draw attention to yourselves and misrepresent yourselves as Superheroes, why just DO the good deeds?

If you ARE going to be Superheroes, Just GO AND FIGHT CRIME.. Unfortuantely, Superheroism now seems to be a celebration of the mundane and ordinary.

And although charity IS inspirational, what you are doing is detracting from the "ordinary people" who actually do what you do (minus the ego handjob).

  • @comichero The only reason they put on the costumes is to symbolize the way they help people and to inspire others to do the same WITHOUT a costume. These guys are my FB friends and one called Geist made a video saying "we don't need more real life superheroes, but we do need more heroes."

  • @MrAlchemist009

    Facebook friends... so?

Look, your point is Crap. They wanna inspire people? Go put on a paramedic's or firefighter's uniform. Or get a result fighting criminals that MAKES papers.

And this IS all ego driven.. sorry, it is. Results count - this is the same as being a Shopping Centre Santa, as opposed to a heart surgeon - yeah Santa is nice, and the costume is pretty cool, and the kids dig it, but the other guy saves lives, faces down death and GETS RESULTS.

  • @comichero (being someones facebook friend helps you understand them better)

I'm sorry but i have to disagree with you on that one. How could this be ego driven when they have said multiple times that they know they are just regular people and aren't doing this for publicity? These guys aren't going around fighting crime without any protection. On top of carrying all the legal weapons and wearing anything between chainmail to bullet-proof vests, these guys TRAIn for bad situations. They...

  • @MrAlchemist009 .. ALSO saying you DON'T do something for publicity, then post vids on Youtube of you doing it, rave about a reality TV show about you doing it, and in it's basic form hope to "Inspire others" by you doing it.. WTF are you trying to bullshit people that it's NOT for publicity?!

You probably oughta think that one out "Dr. Alchemist"(terrible handle - sorry, but it is..).

I could represent myself on this as a "Supervillain" and "Evil Mastermind" because I'm arguing with you.

  • @MrAlch.. but at the end of the day, I just don't see anything constructive (or credible) by what RLSH do.

Plus I don't have a secret lair, robot doubles, and look terrible in a black cloak.. so I'll just be content with being an asshole.

  • @comichero Fine...I could correct you on everything you just said, but if you're done listening then I'm done talking.

  • @MrAlchemist009 ... Actually, you couldn't. And that's why you're taking the easy way out.

Your arguments are flimsy.. I AM listening, but it seems purely to guage crap at this point: very little of what you have said has any validity. You lack strength in your commtiment, Sir.

  • @comichero Really? because "i think ill be content with being an asshole" sure does SOUND like youre done listening.

  • @MrAlchemist009 .. no, go on. Make a point - a VALID one.

  • @comichero The only reason there are youtube vids and tv shows on this is because of two reasons. 1: others think they need publicity because they saved them from a mugging or saved there car from being stolen. 2: peaople like you...meaning people who don't understand what this is all about so they go around thinking "these guys ACTUALLY think they have POWERS?!" so these get interveiwed and whatnot and decide it would be wise to correct those like you.

  • @comichero Also, this isn't the best youtube vid for what I'm trying to point out.

well...shit...I would give you a link to another video, but this damn thing says "error, try again" every time I try to post it.

  • @comichero Don't go around LOOKING for fights, but they are prepared to if need be. And gues what the first thing they do is when they know a fight will occur?...CALL THE POLICE! And some of them Are proffesoinally trained life savers. (Night Owl is a paramedic for instance.)

  • @MrAlchemist009 Actually being somebody's facebook friend really doesn't qualify shit.

I'm friends with Stevie Wonder - how often do you think we hang out?

So they AREN'T Superheroes? They fight for justice by picking up the phone and dialling 911.. all the time inspiring others to do likewise, wearing lycra with a bloody silly name?

Heroism is something that is acquired through performing deeds where there is actual threat of loss to themselves - an act of sacrifice for the good of another

  • @ MrAlc.. These people risk nothing but their credibility.. they're not doing any harm, dure. But there is nothing Heroic about what they're doing in that vid.

Recycling? WOW.. I just saved the universe by using grey water to water my lawn.. LOOK OUT!! Galactus is here.. quick: seperate paper from plastic..

Pal, whatever another's OTHER life is, Heroism is something that should be bestowed upon an individual by others - not by themselves. Dudes are trained as Paramedics?

  • @MrAlc.. Great, go out and inspire in THAT uniform.

As the famous quote goes: "Don't try to be a great man.. just be a man: Let history make it's judgement". The self appointed title "Super Hero"is arrogant self given ego worship. A case of "Oooh, look at me. Aren't I great? Look at my amazing Neon Green Lycra suit with matching ankle boots and gloves.. don't I just INSPIRE heroism??".

    Weak.. really, really weak.

  • @comichero I think we all know these guys (at least some of em) Just live up to their dreams...

  • Did MTV actually follow through with this show that they mentioned at the end or were they too busy pumping out some more bullshit like Jersey Shore?

  • These Friends of mine are awesome people. We all understand that you don't need a costume to do something good, but our costumes draw attention to the causes. One of the reasons many of us wear masks is because it ISN'T about us, but the good stuff anyone can do. The costumes do draw attention, though. Otherwise, this wouldn't be on TV, newspapers, or the Web.

And believe me, you ain't seen nothin' yet.

  • not really. but as for everyone "doing their civic duty" thats easier said than done, most people are way too selfish to care about anything other than themselves.

  • You don't need to wear a costume to be a hero! In fact, it should be everyones civic duty to make their community a better, safer place to live for their neighbors!

  • yeah whateva.

  • You disagree?

  • @3030anon exactly.

  • @3030anon i respect ur opinion, but i think the costume is for thier "other side" to escape and manifesat itself. Although some may do it purely for attention/ fame,,although if i become a rlsh fame would only be a bonus aside from that great feeling of helping others :)
