The first warcraft game was actually supposed to be a Warhammer game, but there were some disagreements or something, and it ended up as the Warcraft franchise we know and love. With this in mind, and also taking into consideration the striking similarities between the warhammer 40 k universe and the starcraft universe, i think it would be reasonable to assume that Starcraft originally was going to be a 40k game. But who can blame them for borrowing from the most compelling Sci-Fi universe ever.

i think you should buy a new grafic card (7600gt for example), and to upgrade your ram to 1gb, then sc2 will work perfect... i guess
