note. chevelle is a 3 member band and make JUST as much noise. thats why they are as big as they are. ftm is good too, but in my opinion their sound(on this song) at first reminds me of that'one week'song. Not only that; range is great and thats why we have front mans like AMY LEE and K Maynard whatever his name is or soad guy or korn but remember their sound comes from way more than one person.that should be accounted for when it comes to their credentials(sp?). chevelle is the modern day rush.

I think they are apples and oranges. FTM's sound is more intricate, deeper, and Darroh has a more dynamic voice. Chevelle, being just a 3 piece, lacks a lot of the depth of FTM. That being said, I had the good fortune of seeing Chevelle live on Saturday, and I was impressed. Nonetheless, FTM's live show is far superior, IMHO. More energy, and Darroh is a madman on stage. It's hard to compare two bands that are so different. I appreciate the comment!

Yet FTM reminds me soooo much of a band called FEAR THE CLOWN which i loooooove, FEAR THE CLOWN sings then kicks into it and kinda screams and puts emotion in his vocals. and they're lyrics are amazing. you gotta try and find this band, they're older prob. 2002, but they're really good, you'd like them. All their songs sound the same. Too repetitive, they lead you to believe its gonna kick off but they never do. Its weak and the same thing over and over. and you know this....
