@shabooinca What does the word "cover" mean? I know Benny Thomason (under the name Luke) wrote this tune, but doesn't the word "cover" mean trying to make an exact copy of the original rather than your own interpretation? Who is this hammered dulcimer player covering? Benny played it on the fiddle.
Two of my favorite things together, the dulcimer and this song. My mom used to take me to the renassaince fair when I was a kid, and I fell in love with the dulcimer there. She was also a fan of Kate Wolf, who did a wonderful rendition of this song, and I fell in love with that too. Thank you for sharing this.

Well I just use a camera tri-pod and the dulcimer weighs 6lb, No I don't think a 40Lb dulcimer would work.
