He pees on the deck because the cat just before gave him a "smell-message" (when the cat raises the tail, she sprays scent, with whatever meaning). The bear smelled that and responded by also peeing, and leaving a message of his own. That´s how I see it.

Well, there's two sides of the coin here. You could let the mother and cub bears alone, but they might come back and everytime they do, someone or some animal might hurt... its a mother bear with a cub what do you think that could happen?

I am just going to say this, while "cute" this video has a high potential of "kids killed by bear in backyard" since most bears stay away from people, the mother bear feeling "safe" in this family's backyard is a tragedy in the making. Bears dont attack unless they are threatened. they are more scared of you then you of them a mother bear will attack when cubs are in danger or she thinks they are. They mostly eat berries,fruits and fish and scavenge for food and garbage dumps. but are harmless unless WE HUMANS threaten them. I grew up around bears,cougars,moutain lions,deer,mountain goats etc, Badgers...they are NOT to b fucked with! Dangerous violet creatures that will slice you up if you go close to its home
