  • Class movie and a fab scene. Beautiful car, shame she got blown up LOL.

  • Ooh, they ran over their own bomb! That's messed up! :)

  • Dreadful treatment to a beautiful Transam.....

  • I think Steve looked pretty good here, though I understand he was ill at the time. He just had the kind of face that looked like he'd lived far longer than he had.

I had a Trans Am like this one. One had a t roof, another had a hardtop. I got parts for them off write offs. Never leave the keys in the ignition.

That cop was such an inconsiderate asshole not volenteering his men to help McQueen.

  • I don't know what has made me want a Trans Am more, this movie, or Smokey and the Bandit. -way underated movie, "Where'd he come from!!!"

  • Hmm the car at the end (on the trailer) had an automatic transmission :/

  • now I know where cars got this scene from,

  • sure he did bullit and didnt know how to drive a four speed, which he double clutched, lol

  • He can't use a "stick shift" ? What a dork !

  • Hey man! You drive like Steve McQueen! Oh, wait... ;-)

  • this would be a good project for monster garage if they mounted a harvast machine on the front of the transam

  • Poor Trans ; (

  • good film. his last film.

  • damn you hollywood stop wrecking f-bodies

  • Can you upload the lowrider scene right after this please?

  • wot was with the random burnout type things after he was talkin 2 the copper??

  • @saltyluvssofas learning to drive stick

  • Sad that Steve McQueen's film career couldn't have ended with a better movie than this. I watched it on TV a few years ago. It's ok...but a rather tame action flick. Poor Steve looks older than his years. He was only around 50 here! it's assumed that cancer was already eating away his insides when he made this flick. THANKS for posting this interesting clip!

  • god the endings painful to watch...

  • I saw this movie when I was a kid...can't remember why he could not drive the trans am well.

  • No more Trans-Am. Would love to have one now. It would be worth something.

  • LOL,spun out tweekers destroying a trans am.

  • I love it, he can't drive an automatic....

  • RIP poor Trans Am.

Never understood why hollywood loved to kill these cars.

  • Can you upload the whole movie?

  • Based on a true story about Papa!!! Way before Dog!

  • Just like my Driving, Bret !!

  • Always loved watching this scene with my dad. This movie came on Showtime every night, it seemed, for about ten years.

  • Notice how the dynamite didn't set fire to the grass or field after exploding. The Branch Brothers caught a lucky break at about 5:33 when Ralph "Papa" Thorson missed hitting them by very little. Also notice how the doors were on the car after it exploded and flipped but not when it was being towed on the truck.

  • Ummmmm....green grass/crops don't burn...

  • no man i love trans am trans am 4 evar
