@MrVeggie247 Think about what ocarina did wrong. Well this game fixed those problems. Just because a game like Ocarina is perfect doesn't mean it doesn't have flaws. Citizen Kane is the greatest film ever made and yes it has flaws and films that came after it, like Schindler's List, fixed those flaws. So in other words Skyward is now Schindler's List, my favorite and perfect but not as others

People are always saying the Wii has no graphical power. Perhaps compared to the other consoles, it *might* be on the weak end of looks. HOWEVER, after having played Okami (hear me out), I personally can say the Wii is no slouch when it comes to how games can look. Okami was one of the most visually incredible games out there, and if Nintendo uses a similar quality engine for Skyward Sword, I can guarantee SS will be a very beautiful game as well.

Zelda has a good history, but I still have some things I want to see in Skyward Sword, such as a greater difficulty compared to recent games (or at least the option to have a greater difficulty), and more complex puzzles (since this game is going to be for a more mature audience, which means we have more brain capacity), etc... I sure hope the enemies are a bit more animated. They hardly have any expression on their faces as Link beats the crap out of em.
Although, Nintendo does have a knack for making trailers that look like ass, only then to release a truly amazing game.

People are always saying the Wii has no graphical power. Perhaps compared to the other consoles, it *might* be on the weak end of looks. HOWEVER, after having played Okami (hear me out), I personally can say the Wii is no slouch when it comes to how games can look. Okami was one of the most visually incredible games out there, and if Nintendo uses a similar quality engine for Skyward Sword, I can guarantee SS will be a very beautiful game as well.

@Woot831 Of course, graphics aren't worth crap unless the game itself is just as amazing. Zelda has a good history, but I still have some things I want to see in Skyward Sword, such as a greater difficulty compared to recent games (or at least the option to have a greater difficulty), and more complex puzzles (since this game is going to be for a more mature audience, which means we have more brain capacity), etc... Don't get me wrong; I adore Zelda, but this is Nintendo's big chance nonetheless

You might as well say that the PS2 is a graphical powerhouse because the PS3 has a Cell processor. It just isn't relevant. It also doesn't matter.
My point was not that the Wii isn't technically competent, but that it doesn't matter. Looking good is not a function of polygon counts, or normal maps. It's about style.

Zelda games are getting bigger.. Just like Mario Galaxy 2. Miyamotoyo is creating a massive world... Twilight was massive compare to previous Zelda games, so this one will be bigger.. The engine will eventually be able to render a massive castle 4miles away. The wii doesn't have the power to do so and have pretty graphics.. That's why the wii U was made.. Look at the new Zelda demo, that spider is gigantic.

as a swordfighter whos also using a shield its highly recommended to use your strong arm for the shield !

@Deidara188 He doesn't, In this game he lives in Skyloft. A town in the sky. The big reason why he jumps down is because the king of skyloft orders him to save hyrule, A dark and gloomy life under the clouds (Its not completely accurate but its basically it)
