Everything is brainwash, whether it be scientology, christianity, buddhism, or even learning & living life through your own eyes. If you take a blank sheet of paper, that's all it is until you put something on it. Same with life. Nothing is wrong or right, people's perceptions differ. What's right to you is wrong to someone else.
That conclusion is basically was the "religion" of scientology is about, acting out on the weak minded, and making profit, it all comes from him, he exploits and is partly a liar and a thief, because telling someone life and its issues comes from space aliebs is ridiculous. But whose gonna think its ludecrous after reaching OT3 ? After spending thousands in learning this ? Denial and perseverance maybe. Thats just a brief analysis of what i understood from this, i hope i explained well.
overall dont get me wrong, scientology is a lot of bullshit, because as i was saying, it takes time to "educate" or condition people in a certain way of thinking, so why not make a PROFIT of this (hence the $ on $cientology) ? thats why he started his own religion, and thats where the basis of his masterplan comes from, it doesnt take much to start something. What does this shows us ? Well, he applicates his way of thinking to naive people in search for answers, but distorts things to get rich.
continuing my comment, i think he is a very intelligent man when you listen, putting his "religion" aside, because scientology itself isnt really scientology he wants to deliver to people himself in his own goals, you cant advertise something to naive people that is this deep (well at least from ive heard from him). you need time to condition someone in some system of thought, or as he calls it (basically) , understanding yourself to improve yourself.
this is really interesting, it just proves that you just cant understand life, and man, you cant tell where its from, who is the "author" as he said, sadly he thinks its aliens and stuff, maybe he doesnt really believe in this, i dont know, either way its bullshit. i think he cannot face the fact that he cant understand the true meaning of life and it drives him mad, he writes science fiction to imagine a more vast and complex depth to life, and anything beyond our understanding.
If you look at it objectively, you'll see that most of what he's saying is truly observant and empathetic. It's just how he ties it all together that's insane. He's very smart. It's almost a shame he was so bonkers. The smart ones always are. idk, maybe he was an alien.
Non-biased and intelligent people find this interview of Mr. Hubbard extremely interesting. If you understand what he is saying, you'll get why Scientologists don't want to give Scientology up.
As hard as I can I will fight for the prohibition of your so-called church. I will not give, up, until the retransmission of your dangerous thoughts is forbidden worldwide.

@dazdope He was not smart in terms of helping people, or understanding science. He was only partially smart in selling stuff. Marketing.
