darkvader doesn't know a thing about drums. you really know how to groove and stay loose. seriously impressive for yer age, don't listen to what pricks like that have to say, they can't even offer constructive criticism. but yeah, doing a cover of such a classic song can be nervewracking but you just let it flow and didn't overplay it at all or try and show off. and that's what'll make people realy want to play with you. keep grooving man.

It's pretty cool...nobody can replicate EWF. You have be locked in the groove and keep in mind the other instruments.

I'm a huge fan too and I know a BAD sounding cover when I hear one. You're like the people on American Idol who can't stand it when someone tells them that they can't sing. Trust me, he can play the drums, but he's far from getting that tune right. I rather hear fingernails on a chalkboard.

the set, all in all, cost me a little more than $1,000. you might be able to find a used one.

Thanks! It's a Pearl Wood/Fiberglass kit from the 70s. Toms- High (12"x9") Middle (13"x10") Floor (16"x16"). Snares- Pearl 14"x6" steel, steel Gretsch Mighty Mini 8"x5.5". Tom heads have Remo Pinstripes and Evans clear resonants. The snare head is a Remo Coated Ambassador and the bottom head is a Remo Ambassador snare. The bass heads are Remo Powerstrokes. The cymbals are all Zildjian except for the 2 Wuhan Chinas (16" and 20"). Old Zildjian ride and Hi-Hat, A Custom crashes (16" and 18").
