That is exactly how Comcast thinks. Take a look at how Comcast( or Xfinity or whatever they call themselves this month) compares themselves to DirecTV or Fios. The comparison chart is laughable and over exaggerated. If I were Comcast I would not post Norton AV as a selling point. They have more On Demand because they have OLD crappy B and C movies. THANK YOU DIRECTV for giving me a better picture and not some weird warble sounding audio.

@RoyFive ...of course not. Ad campaigns can run for a year or 2 maybe more depending on the success of it. Think about all the popular commercial campaigns that have come and gone over the years. Eventually they do end and thats probably what happened to this one.

Like everyone else I love the guy's pompous face & gesture at the end (as well as his idiotic 'logic'), but the lady's part is also great (mouthing "Do we?"). In fact the whole bit worked to perfection. I'd say one of the best of the past few years.

This commercial is hilarious; I don't get tired of watching it. From the guy's smug look when he says "Not as much as they would like watching it... in a million eighty-p!" to the ladys confused look ("...do we?), the final, self-congratulatory, "looks like someone just leveled the playing field!", and the following look of "oh yeah, Im cool!" it is just comedic gold, all packed in 30 seconds flat.
