Glad that I found out his name so that when I tell folks of 'the most amazing drummer I've ever seen live' from the Lights in the Sky tour show in dallas, they'll know who I'm speaking of. This song may have been the moment when my husband and I looked at each other with both of our jaws hanging wide open in utter astonishment. Look at the way he holds his sticks. It's bizarre. I want to know how he holds them. His middle and forefinger are not really gripping the stick, but I tried that, and my back two fingers start to hurt after a while from having to grip so hard and compensate. Is this his secret? How does he hold his sticks like that??? Is this the middle finger fulcrum or something. Then, in other NIN videos, he holds them 'normally.' I don't get how he decides when to hold them a certain way. He's so relaxed.
