  • Not good setup for feeding...crickets are stupid and will commit suicide.. this setup more for a turtle

  • how do you tell if they are boy or girl?

  • dude get some more round rocks those frogs are gonna cut theirselves thats how my african plated lizard died

  • i got 2 to start and that tank doesnt look great try getting a smaller filter and hiding it by a plant

  • Im thinking of getting some fire belly toads.....how many should i start off with?

  • how much does a filter like that cost?

  • check out my tank thats good though

  • nice setup-i got two fire belly toads-one blackesh green and one light green

    i feed them waxworms though

  • @TheEmster51 nice, but usually it is important to keep them on a diet of crickets, but worms are good too.

  • @atomicdonutinc yea-iv feed them crickets before-it just gets annoying because if i put the crickets in to eat sometimes the toads wont see them and the crickets will jump in the water and drown and when i take them out to eat -just you know i like feeding them waxworms as treats and mealworms averagelly-my leopard gecko also only eats mealworms but my bearded dragons will only eat crickets

  • @TheEmster51 lol that sounds like when my friend feeds his frogs lol anyways sounds like a good diet :D

  • nice setup-i got two fire belly toads-one blackesh green and one light green

  • can i do this in a 5 gallon tank with 2 frogs

  • what kind of lights are u using i got the amphibian ones that look like black light to imitate the amazons lighting but thise were too dim and then i tried one of the dim ones and a 25w aquarium light for fish and it seems too bright and fogs the tank up a bit........help!

  • please answer me

  • hey when u clean it do u have to put it another tank or somthing?

  • @godfather because they're fricken amazing

  • good ideass broo

  • why the fuck would someone has that as a pet

  • @GodFather663 Learn English. And try not to be so stupid.

  • can you use tap water

  • No tap water. It has to be chlorine free. I use Poland Spring Water. If it's too expensive to keep buying bottled water, put tap water in a water bottle uncovered for 4 days and let the chlorine dissipate.

  • i got two it is 2/3 land and 1/3 water should i change it?

  • you can use a turtle dock for a firbelly toad land area

  • i was thinking about using this layout for my 1st fire belly but i heard they enjoy hiding spots..is this true and is this a successful layout

  • my fire bellied toad is the clumsiest of all lol, i feed him a mealworm from my hand and he misses it a couple times before actually getting it =P

  • what plants can u prchse that will float

  • floating plants 0_o

  • how big is your tank 10 gallon right

  • Beautiful thing, great video.

  • firebellies need a half earth half water setup. they need dirt too

  • 3:03 cricket got owned

  • can you use rocks from the garden in the tank??

  • yh they are natural so it doesnt matter

  • well, sorry. that isn't a whisper. It's a reptofilter or something.

  • ok kewl thanx

  • would a 5 and a half gallon tank work for one toad

  • Yup. But instead I'd go with a 10 gallon and 2 toads. They're happier in pairs or groups.

  • fairly simple

  • how much was all of that because i got a 10 gallon and some water! lol :P

  • Go outside and find some large rocks?

  • if your local playground has rocks pebbles take those wash the thourohly buy a toad and a rock under ten bucks

  • Really nice setup. O:

  • thats a excelent basic tank setup i might do that but with different decorations..

  • 3:02 pwned!!!!! :P

  • i like how they instantly start gettin down

  • Not the best setup guys. More land and substrate needed.

  • hey for your filter, will the media inside the white pouch hirt the frogs? or will it help clean the water for them more.

  • no it takes odars and bad color out of the water

  • because that is a wisper filter wisper filters suck because there no good if i was you i wold get a fluval 4 plus fluval is great filter to get

  • copyrighted :( kinda sux lol i'm surprised someone noticed already!

  • oh lol

  • @LAUGHTOY0URSELF dude they waer fuking each other

    nice set up not bad

  • HOW LONG DO THEY LIVE???

  • 5/7 years

  • What could i put in my spare 5 gallon tank i want somethig that eats veggies and not so much crickets its easier on my wallet plus i have a cichlid tank thats somewhat expensive. Thanks im looking for tree frogs or toads.

  • snails eat veggies are do you reptiles wise because no retile will

  • maybee 1 or 2 firebelly newts

  • after this how many crickets do they eat / what do they eat a week + how often do you empty the tank completely again and redo this ? I subbed

  • i clean it about once every couple weeks and they eat about 10-12 a week

  • can you put netws in there?

  • Can you PLEASE make a crested gecko setup video!!! It would be amazing if you would!

by the way this video is amazing!!!

  • i would if i had one. sorry :( but if i ever get 1 i'll make that video i promise!

  • how long have u had your toads?

  • since july

  • what kind of filter is that and do u need to de clorinate the water with that filter?

  • i used aqua safe to de chlorinate the water and the name of the filter is in my red eared sliding turtle video

  • i am thinking about getting a fbt but i am just a beginner so these may be dumb questions but what did it cost aprox , how do you clean your tank and how often?

  • i got them at two different places one was petsmart and was $5.00 the other one i got from a small pet store and it was $7.00. I actually clean the tank when it gets dirty i mostly clean the filter, which helps a LOT, and just pick the toads up in your hands, or you could use a net, and put them in a container with water and air holes and clean the tank then put 'em back in it only takes about 5 or 10 minutes!

  • did u use a fake or a real plant respond pleez.

  • i used fake, but you can use real they just have to be safe for the frogs

  • @abruns117 both are good, ofcourse, real ones are allways best

  • put some sand or gravel in, a background, and a place for them to hide.

  • Thanks alot :]

  • Nice tank!

I noticed you had both European and Oriental Fire bellied toads mixed together.

I've got 2 Oriental, and just bought a European one but im not sure if i should mix them together.

Could it be toxic for the other 2 or would it be fine?

    - If any one could help, because i've searched online but couldnt find any information about it.

    Thanks guys!

    -_-;

  • well i got most of them at petsmart or petco and there were both in the same tank. and i've had them together for a loooooooooooong time and they seem to get along ok. there shouldn't be a problem

  • Hey man cool vid is it ok to use a 40 watt uva bulb for my fire belly toads?

  • what is the difference between european and oriental

  • dude i want to see the fire belly toad tank the clawed frog video is out so about how long till the fire belly vid

  • Umm let me point something out. fire bellies are land frogs they do need access to water but a bowl is good. dont flood the tank like your doing secondly a heater is a must their tank must be in atleast 72* or more also they need a varied diet or atleast gut loaded crickets. and dusted with vitamins and calcium and you forgot the water dechlorinator.

  • Listen smarty pants he iz not flooding the tank he is actually doing a great job fire belly toads originated from asia in small ponds with more wter then that and fire belly toads can't be dusted with regular reptile dust b cause there ampibians! DEE DEE DEE!!!! And you don't need to dechorinate the water when u hav a filter!

  • did they mate at one small point in the middle of the vid?

  • pub mix!

  • hey did you see my tank video

  • hey i would put more style in there but thats just me

  • i know. my upgraded fire bellied toad/newt vivarium video comes out in december after african clawed frogs

  • where did you buy your frogs and toad?

  • petsmart

  • Oh okay. But too be honest I hate Petsmart.

  • love your tan-brown toad! two thumbs up!

  • loved the video two thumbs up =)

  • how come everybody keeps making very lazy looking tanks. Why don't you actually try making it look nice?

  • well thanks for the possitive feedback. by the way, how's your tank coming along? I'm going to make a video on how to make a larger, more decorated tank for toads and newts. however this video is just a simple tank. that's the point. it's suppsosed to be easy enough for anyone to set up. if you don't like it, why don't you make a video of your tank?

  • Oh, well i like tanks that look natural and that also give the frogs a nice tank, i mean they are still living things i would think they would want something less plain.

  • i made a video you might like

  • where did you git the rocks? nice tank

  • i found them. petsmart carries something like them though. you could actually use any rocks large enough for the toads to climb up on.

  • thats a neat tank just a quike and simple tank

  • Hey , I finally got my name back, lol ( used to be Julianne12x)

Like the song by the way.

I might put up a vid of my vivarium soon.

  • Very nice vid. Always cheers me up when i watch it. I usually

watch it every time I'm on youtube. ( I'm nervous alot, lol)

Say, you have any breeding tips??? FrogBoy97 ( it sais julianne cuz sister messed up my computer, hehe)

  • from what i've been told, breeding is hard. but probaBLY POSSIBLE. MINE NEVER BRED...I DON'T THINK...

  • Breeding is fairly easy....but there is one hard part. That is to keep the eggs and tadpoles alive. The main thing that kills them is not enough water changes. You must remember that even the eggs and tadpoles have poison and they can easily get a poison OverDose if the water is not changed.

For breeding I would first step 1 feed them, 2 put them in a rain chamber or constantly mist them, 3 put in live plants for the eggs so the tadpoles can munch on them for a while, and 4 send me some

  • Thanks man, but, What the heck is a rain chamber? I have a mister, but how often exactly do i mist them?

  • Sweeet song!haha oh and I like the toads haha Im gettting some for my vivarium.

  • nice video.

  • very good and easy set up.

  • thanks a lot:)

  • weird song... otherwise nice video also next time try to use you voice to say what you are doing. sometimes ppl dont understan the typing in the video. i would also ask you to make a video more explaning.... but i guess nice vid

  • i know. but my voice sounds weird on film. plus, i say in the desc. to watch in high quality because the words are better seen and less blurry. but thanks for the possitive feedback. im coming out with a new pet depot video soon!

  • Cool tank! My filter sucks it's a fluval 1 plus but it's not like urs at all... I need a new one what's yours called? thnx...

  • awsome thanks i want some

  • hey were did you get the rocks? and also how much was the lil water fall thing???

  • I actually Found the rocks. U can use any kind of rock, just wash them. The filter was 20 or 25 bucks, but worth it. It keeps the tank really clean.

  • first comment yay =O
