The fact remains that until Steve Coogan actually says publicly that "Yes, I was doing an impression of Christopher Walken it could very easily be one or the other...but a British guy doing an impression of an Italian broadcaster speaking English would, in my opinion, sound pretty weird without the Walken impression. Maybe Christopher Walken just sounds like a British guy doing an impression of an Italian broadcaster?
@DanthemanCTU24 Not officially, but part of me likes to believe that he was told to do an Italian sounding guy and he decided to get as close to Chris Walken as possible - the inflections in his voice and his wee smirk are very Walkeny! :)
