this just goes to show that some people heve no idea what they are doing when building a crawler they just think lots of lift and big tires do it but thats just not it
Lockers would stop the wheel spin... And what i the point of having a crawler if the tires are twice the size of anything on the course. Take your swamp buggy home and get a real 4x4. Also its sad when someone says they drove there chevy blazer on the same trail...
I really dont see why all these people on here have no life other then to pick at what others like. DONT watch then. Go look some where else. It took him lots to build it the way HE wanted HIS jeep NOT yours. Build your own how you want it and leave people FREEDOM of choice alone.
@jksd6930 i agree, i bet most of the people on here dont even have a truck or jeep that can do half the stuff they see on the internet. it takes lots of time and money to be able to make a truck like this. i mean it took me only a week to build my truck but thats cuz i had the money at the time. every one needs to stop talking shit on others people trucks. if they dont like it then dont watch the damn vid.
@frackcha Your right but when your tire gets lower than a certain point it essentially has no weight on it so even with 100% ground contact it will spin and not get traction.
Too tall. WAY too tall. Great articulation, too much lift. Too skinny of a tire. Those bogger 11" tires work great in the mud. A bone stock jeep wrangler could have climbed that hill easily.
Narrow ?...those ar 44 inch Boggers ...they're f-n 19.5 inches wide ...And a stocker or non flexible jeep would never follow that line without lifting tire 2 feet off the ground and even locked would have to use a gang of momentum and multipe runs at the hill with all the tire lifting action...It's certainly is tall , has to be to make that set up look narrow , But it obviously works , And I'm sure he is not going to cry if he rolls ,He'd just tip it back over and roll on .
@yerwrng Dude...those are NOT 44 inch boggers. They are 38 inch tall and 11 inches wide. Come on man. I know boggers. Own 3 sets of them. You are wrong my friend.
@MattRT91 oh yea okay let me drive all the way to texas to prove to someone who doesnt know jack shit about jeeps that that trail is not that bad if done correctly.
i know u dont want to hear this but let me tell u things that are rong with ur jeep dont get me rong it looks good but u didnt build it to be a street princess 1. its to tall concidering how short it is i know its streached about 9or10inches but still u gota think about the center of gravity on it 2. LOCKERS man other than that its an amazing jeep well my opinion for looks i shure it could make it up "some" stuff but not anything compared to what i could sry4puttin u down but somebody had to man

Everything is so stretched out.
Who shot this footage? Sergio Leone? ;-)

Things got some flexy but I'd hate to climb something really steep. It's a little too flexy and top heavy.

There gets to be a point where your rig has much flex, you sir, have exceeded it. Proof :29 your tire was dropped so low it had no traction.

@theonly9 and thats why man made diff lockers....

@stayXbrutal78 thas what i was thinking. why build a rig like that and not have it locked up. at least the rear?
jesse0376 1 year ago
@stayXbrutal78 than grab your jeep and drive to that trail and upload a video of you taking the hill, prove it son

you need locked axles so aur tires spin at the same time
bencollyer12345 1 year ago
You need something to hold your arms, legs and head INSIDE the roll cage when you roll.

404 axles come with lockers. I read on TRC that he hasnt run the cables to engage them. It's still sick and looks a lot better since its lowered

please dont tell me that you spent all that money building that jeep and you have no front locker
TheJeepWheeler 2 years ago
That thing is sick!!
slolyfe had a point, is it top heavy? My guess is that since its so flexy it doesn't matter.
