2002 Buick Rendezvous 0-60

My parents 03 3.4L v6, is wayyy faster than this.... we can hit 60 in 7-8 seconds.. 8 is more consistent. btw ours is FWD only

I think it's the AWD...We have a FWD Rendezvous and it is not nearly this slow.

Test drove one last week and it is slow, but not too bad. I imagine people don't buy these for their blistering accelleration anyway.

i had a GM minivan with the same engine and it was way faster, and the shift from first to second was more responsive than yours is

The black one look good. Almost any car looks good in black. lol. It feels a little bit tipsy to be, but im comparing it with my new mazda cx-9 that is the same size and it has a tight suspension and doesnt feel tipsy at all. If I compare it to my 08 denali xl, thats a different story. lol

@bostondog55 Your 2002 probably has the larger engine option. The old 3.4L OHV that this got is much weaker than the newer OHC versions.

yeah these cars are slow. i don't know what buick was thinking when they put out this all purpose, fuel efficient, minivan alternative, cargo vehicle... i mean, it's a buick - you'd expect super accelerations and sick performance. well now i guess my choice between the viper and the rendezvous is clear... what a group of ass nuts.

It is very slow and only gets around 18mpg. It does ride nice and handle decent, Its comfortable for long drives, and the AWD system is excellent.
