OMG finally I found someone who's budgies like their eyebrows and eyelashes too. Mine has become so obsessed I have to wear a scarf around my forehead so his tiny claws won't scratch my skin.
When you just got your parakeet what did you do? I heard that it takes weeks for them to get use to the owner. What do I have to do for them to get use to me and play with me? We got our yesterday and they seem not interested with anything for now.
how long does it take 2 teach a budgie 2 talk, older budgies. how llong does it take 4 2 budgies 2 talk. also, can i ask, how do u keep it from flying around like crazy and get it back to its cage? need some tips before i do it please.
That's a parakeet for you, if your trying to do something they'll do they're best to get in the middle of it. You should try to finish a computer program with one of the little buggers in the middle of the keyboard.
@TheBardicDruid Mine used to go out of her way to get on my keyboard and do what I'm doing. But then her little toe accidentally got caught and she hasn't done it since. :c Well, she still walks around to find seeds.
@nayattheshore seriously! my budgie used to follow me from room to room all the time lol, once i was upstairs in my room with my bird and went downstairs for like maybe 5 minutes and he shows up outa nowhere lol so in other words he managed to squeeze under my door AND hop down the stairs to find me that adorable little thing
@nayattheshore I know right! My friends all have like, african greys! They laugh at my budgies! But honestly the two of them are so sweet! And more fun!
