ike took that building.. along with just about everything else. including my golf cart and riding mower damnit.. now all the colorful "locals" were washed into the bay and drowned along with all the best restraunts and bars. but they have rebuilt alot of it.. they are filling in rollover pass, and ive been told they are raising the road 6 foot. considering hurricane ike deposited 2 foot of sand in my yard.. dont make sense does it.. oh but how, crystal beach holds sway over us..

I miss the Bolivar area, did a oiled beach cleanup a couple months before ike hit. I'm glad to see Wrecks got the Old Quarter up and running. I lived a block away until the hurricane hit. God I miss Galveston.
