@Magicalfingers33, I CAN TRUTHFULLY UNAPOLOGETICALLY say that the sound that we had back then was beyond years. FGBCFI Super Mass Choir back in the day when Elder A. Jeffrey LaValley (Minister of Music) assisted by directors Billy Rivers - Memphis, TN; Mark Hubbard - Chicago, IL; The Late Dirk Chaney - Atlanta, GA, The Late Phillip Britton - New Orleans, LA and then Elder Byron Cage (Praise & Worship) EVERY YEAR WAS SLAMMIN' IN N.O.L.A.!!!
I heard of Joey years ago from Ray Daniels in Detroit . I had heard some muffled tapes of Joey playing .When i hear this guy here on you tube he is a beast indeed
@PastorNez Yess Mike was indeed the man They are the the inventors of the full gospel sound Our confrence back then had a sound that you cant imitate anywere....
@PastorNez Please don't forget..becasue he used to have people in the aisles. I distinctly remember him playing and singing Amazing grace when I was a Greater (uptown) and it rang through my soul. That man was annointed.
