I'm fortunate that I get to place a lei on his bronze statue whenever I have the need. The Hokulei'a voyages are very much part of Waianae and the people here. Thanks for posting. A few nights ago we had showers of falling stars in our night skies for two days. So again we fortunate to have our skies light up at night with stars.
thanku for all the UPloads, ihear this song now here, and im crying seeing iz over at his page, what a wonderful human being, im honoured to know him thru these uploads and his music too, thanku so much :( ......
This is IZ's version. It's just literally him and his band playing and singing it. Later on he went solo, because he wasn't as mobile anymore. It's really sad, but again he's in a better place.
That's IZ when he was much younger, and much more mobile. During that time he was in the band called the Makaha Sons of Ni'ihau. He left his band when his weight became too much for him to travel with them. It's very sad, but he's in a better place now.
a keala Tahiti Sounds like a plan to me.
