This is a great modem, but I would suggest to use the included "Y" cable so you can attain the 0.7A it is recommended (a USB port outputs 0.5A). I use my MC950D in my Dovado UMR router with the "Y" cable. Works great and it's always connected to the internet around the clock.
can u use it for xbox live?

@columbusdinner Id assume so it will lag though anywhere from 100-400ms ping (1 red bar/2 bars tops)

7.2 is a theoretical air interface speed. In reality, you will never get more than 6Mbps of effective data. Btw - I found my cap again! ;-)

I got one too. It's really great. I got 5.95Mbps down and 1.35Mbps up. Very happy to say the least.....except......I lost the plastic cap!

Sunrise in Switzerland are selling these since August 2007. I have one too and it works tip top on Linux :)
