  • looks sexey...I mean, yummy!

  • This girl is so cute!

  • Agave syrup is a healthier alternative then a process sugar like splenda.

  • @successfull88 I agree, but I also would take it one step higher to say that NEITHER would be the best bet. Sugar is sugar, no matter how you slice it. Eliminate sugar all together and all processed foods, and you're in the best position. I just offer alternatives in moderation to people who want to still have baked goods but without the sugar.

  • @MadeFitTV stevia is the best though!

  • @MadeFitTV u might b right about the suger

  • you made my life with this, ive been waiting on a crunchy bar recipe for a couple months. all the rest are all gooey, and nasty. i LOVE you!!

  • Mine turned brown on top quickly but they were not crunchy can u Facebook message me helpful tips mine were soft and dry Facebook name: Marissa N Brian

  • @DRain831 Yeah, they are a little dry, I'm sorry, lol! That's to be expected with certain "clean" recipes

  • @MadeFitTV should you make the layer thin so they are crunchy more?

  • @DRain831 If you like it that way, go for it. I always make my recipes as a "base" idea so people can change and switch them up however they like.

  • I want her to punch me in the face

  • @leroux510 and then will you strongly resist the urge to thank me? : )

  • u remind me of leah remini big time

  • @digit432 My husband says that and a few others have as well, lol! I don't have her attitude, though : )

  • Splenda is an extremely harmful Neurotoxin (a substance that damages, destroys, or impairs the functioning of nerve tissue) its the same as Aspartame. Stay away from any artificial sweetener, they are all harmful. Just use sugar. There is tons of research and reports out on these deadly substances.

  • @azsunman Thank you for your feedback. Everything in moderation is the key to overall health and wellness.

  • @azsunman Thank you for that information. More and more I am researching as well and since this video has been posted (nearly two years ago), I can see how much more info has been released to the public regarding the findings of the substance. Stevia is a much better alternative, or sugar in very conservative portions.

  • @azsunman What about Stevia? Is that ok?

  • @Damnationization NONE of the artificial sweeteners are safe. All are very harmful. Just use sugar.

  • @Damnationization Several of the harmful effects of Stevia: Reproductive Difficulties, Cancer, Energy Metabolism Toxicity of the Kidneys, Mutation of human DNA, Hypoglycemia or Hypotension. Any statements that they are safe is irresponsible or a deliberate lie. Unfortunately, you live in a country that deliberately poisons its people. Fluoride and other harmful chemicals in the water, aspartame (or its evil counterparts) in food, gum and medicines, GM foods, etc, etc.

  • @azsunman I never knew that. Wow. I do know about fluoride and aspartame. I generaly try not to add sweatners. Can you give me a link to this info on stevia and other such things? General Mills foods? Gum? I don't take any medication but would like to know more.

  • @azsunman Everything is money driven, so we have to do the best with what information we are provided with and be responsible on our part in doing as much research as possible to make the best choices for us. Thank you for the informative post.

  • These are a little dry, but much more tolerable than most bars, if you add abit more egg and abit of honey there good to go :)

  • @kiowchung Oh yes, they are a tad dry. I like to keep the recipes on here pretty bare bones so people can add or subtract based on their own preferences and taste buds. Glad you were able to make them fit into your tastes and lifestyle!

  • FUCKING SUBSCRIBING !!!

  • @cokiesQ8 : )

  • @MadeFitTV BTW i jizzed when i saw this reply

  • Your guns are big time

  • when you said, "shower", it threw me off for a minute

  • Mmmm those look pretty good. I think I might try this recipe out..perhaps tweak it with a bit of flax seed or wheat germ and use Truvia (stevia) instead. I also bet my chocolate whey powder will work well with this recipe.

And thanks too for including the per-serving nutritional info. This beats the pants off the Powerbars I've been eating.

  • so healthy! I love that you give substitutes (especially the option of putting splenda) I would use stevia equivalent doses. Good job, it was really nice and healthy :)

  • wow beautiful girl

  • you are Gorgeous

  • Nice delts n biceps

  • I shouldn't of watched this.. Now I'm hungry >.>

  • She is so awesome. I want to marry her in my castle!

  • @BeatBay Wait.... you have a castle???? : ) Thx, you're too kind!

  • @madhatter534 Seriously??? You should check out my updated channel Made Fit TV because this video was over a year ago. I'm 4'11, 110lbs, and all natural, if you want to hate on me then you must not be a fan of health, fitness, and nutrition.

  • @MadeFitTV No,no,no I love health and nutrition. You are misunderstood. I am saying women do NOT normaly have shaped arms!!!! If you want to, then fine! go right ahead not my business.

  • @Sjantalle Try again... Snacks, perhaps? Although, if getting kinky with your food is your thing, go for it!

  • @MadeFitTV LOL

  • holy guns... love those arms

  • wow, you are actually a really great cooking show personality...i felt like I was watching a food network special...good info, interesting recipe (most are no-bake), thanks!

  • I love this recipe! How long will it keep fresh if you want to store them for later?

  • @LeannaLitha They should last about a week in the frig. Or you can even freeze them and thaw them one at a time in the frig as you eat them.

  • @VikingBlud Yes I do if they contain obscenities : )

  • those look really nice im gonna make some one day but i think im gonna add some raisins and dark chocolate ;)

  • @TinysiPhoneHelp Heck yeah, that sounds great! I love dark choc : )

  • @VikingBlud that's really not a way to be a charmer

  • wow her shoulders

    is she a fitness model?

  • @Jamieb6 Thanks : ) I'm a national level figure competitor, actually. This is me in the off-season. But even if I didn't compete, I would still look like that because I love to weight-lift!

  • @MadeFitTV sweet! i love seeing [attractive] girls who are into weight lifting, keep it up!

  • i already dont like this girl an its only like 10 seconds in... why? oh cus she is fit and and hot and sexy and she has bigger and better muscle mass than me.....

  • @hurrykaneecko Thank you? lol!

  • @MadeFitTV haha :P im messing around lol but i liked the video i have the things needed to make the bars so imma try them out in the next few days i gotta feeling rhey would be awsome tho, so thanks! :)

  • Egg whites are a substitute for butter?

  • @MoonOverMumbai egg whites don't substitute for anything, they are a main ingredient in this recipe. No butter ; )

  • I love your biceps :D, you must be in one hell of a great shape :)

Tell me ... what's your opinion on weight gainers, 30 % weigh protein / 70 % carbonhydrates (slow and fast)

  • if i wrap these up individually in tin foil how long would they keep in the fridge

  • @smartpartsionlover They should keep for a good 5 days : ) Thanks for trying them - hope you like them!

  • Thank you for your recipes. I did this one....loved the taste and texture .I was in such a rush to do these I used what I had in my cupboard sooo since I didnt have PB I used natural almond butter. They turned out great. What I also did, is used chocolate PP and when they can out of the oven I melted dark chocolate (more than 70% coco) NOT much.... haha!! spread it very thinly MMMmmmm. You can tell I like chocolate. :) Again thank you

  • I LOVEEEE your kitchen videos!!! your recipes are the best!!! :))) oxoxox

  • Thank you!!! xo

  • LOL, thx, I appreciate the compliment : )

  • Amazing! Instead of protein powder, I used slivered almonds, and a bit of honey...Oh, and I added some BeneFiber, as well (the tasteless kind). As a FT college student, this is easy and healthy to grab as breakfast or a snack. I think I am gonna try coconut and coco powder instead of almonds and honey next time. Thank you!! Keep posting more videos! I love them!

  • Ooh, that sounds so good! Let me know how they turn out : )

  • i gotta question on it , is it compulsary dat v gotta bake 'em ?

  • If it has egg in it, then bake them. It makes them harder and crunchy. Although, you could make them "no-bake" by skipping the egg whites and just add some honey and shape it in a pan and stick it in the fridg : )

  • one question. what temp. do you bake it at?

  • @egturbo Watch 1:10 of the video.

  • 350

  • 350 degrees

  • hi there

i watched many videos in youtube for healthy protein bars and i actually think that this video really explains all the essential ingredients needed to make a good protein bar

now, i was wondering if i could use chocolate whey protein instead of vanilla flavor

and is there any way to add more protein in it cause rite now im sorta in a bulking phase so i need lotsa protein and lotsa carb

    i would appreciate a reply :D

  • Hello! Thanks so much for writing and for watching - I appreciate your questions. Yes, you can so whatever you want with my recipes to fit your nutrition needs and fitness goals! Chocolate would taste great! You can even add in some cocoa powder, too! XO

  • Comment removed

  • Can i use the whole egg instead lol and is there something else i can use instead of protein powder i'm kind of broke right now

  • Absolutely! A whole egg is fine. And you can even just take out the protein powder all together and not add anything at all. Maybe more peanutbutter or chopped almonds. The recipe is pretty flexible if you get creative with it. Enjoy and thanks for watching!

  • Hi Jen,

I think I will try making these this weekend. Many of the bars sold out there are total crap. I may even add a few raisins too. It's good to be able to control what's in the bars we eat.

  • i've been going through some of the reciepes on the net for HEALTHY granola bars. They all include some sort of sugar or corn syrup and many include Butter. Makes it hard for me to understand what concept people have for HEALTHY snacks\foods.

This is the First recipe for actual HEALTHY bars without the unwanted sugars and oils.

Will deffenelt make some at home and see what they're like.

    thanks.

  • You are so right! People think "healthy" is a granola bar - but then when you see what's in it, some contain more sugar than a candy bar! I'm so glad you like these and that they fit into your realm of food selections. My goal is to make people feel better about food and actually enjoy it while making it healthy. Your comment reassures me that I am succeeding : ) XO

  • Thank you for this recipe. Just a thought.. maybe you can try Stevia instead of Splenda. Stevia is totally natural and is safe for everyone to consume. Cero calories.. ideal for protein bars.

Try it first because its sweetness is different to splenda, you might want to use less..or more, depending on your "sweet tooth".

  • You're so right! I have been meaning to stock up in stevia. I just added agave nectar to my cupboard and am actively searching for some brown rice syrup to try as well. Thank you so much for your input and for watching Made Fit TV!

  • Ep. 61 on YT before your own blog? Is this a mistake?! lol. It's Tuesday.

  • LOL! Yeah, Chris likes to post them late on Tuesday night and sometimes, depending how Tube Mogel distributes them, YouTube will get it first. So, thanks for being "my first"! LOL! XO
