For all of us X Japan fans, "The Last Song" used to be an essence of sadness and pain. Now, when you hear them perform it (especially when you experience it live) it heals your heart. Yes, it still hurts, hide not being there with the rest of the band, but now the message is more like: something has ended, we miss him, but the new day has come and we have to give our all to make it the best it can possibly be, to make the world complete again.
