I had to get out of the landscaping business years ago just the way it goes. Nobody wants to pay the price to have their grass cut or work done in their yard. Landscapers here on the Coast or BC need to get alteast 40-50 dollars per hour to make a profit. Everything is so cut throat now people under bidding each other. The economy in Canada will get worse when the realestate bubble pops and people are paying on house that are dropping in value. Going to be ugly in 2012.

(2) day and as soon as I got out went to work at my Company and busted hump on weekends. Got into Hydro-seeding made HUGE profits on that. Ended up selling the Company equipment, contracts, name, everything. Made a nice profit and started doing Welding work on the side. You remind me alot of myself work hard and play hard and just enjoy life good luck sounds like you have a solid business plan

(1)I also started a small landscaping business when I was around 12 just doing yards in the neighborhood when i was around 18-19 worked for a large landscape firm worked my way to foreman in 2 years. Then I started another bit larger landscape business and it blossomed quite well. Your a good guy Andy. It's admirable of you sharing your dreams and goals in life. You one of the guy's that seperates the men from the boy's. I'm close to twice your age and your a mini-me of me and closing in. Your known by your rep and character and that is everything in life. @Begbucks 400 bucks is nuts for a program to auto repost listings. its easy enough to repost if you have a craigs account since all you have to do is click the repost button

@GaryKist No you are missing the point; this items can also repost flagged adds, enter captcha (at .035 cents each) & free up your time. plus if you have multiple PVA's (Personal Verified Accounts which can be bulk purchased at about $1.50 each or even less) you can simultaneously repost across your area or even the globe, all on auto pilot. How cool is that?

For car sales you should try eBay but forget the classifieds like Kijiji & Craigslist if you could (ethically & legally) swap ou out the odometer consoles to display Miles first & foremost V.S. Kilometers. You should find a decent market online, but eBay in any case, Just watch out for Zero feedback bidders & other often undesirable deadbeat bidders Open at just over scrap & eBay insertion.

There is a goldmine in used parts! (as Im sure you know) I worked in a junkyard with my cousin for 3 years or so, plus a couple other yards Ive worked at, and I saw how good of a business. I have always been into scrappin cars, but only recently decided to start doing it regularly. I recently stripped out a durango, saving all good sheetmetal, every resellable componant. scrapped all the copper, aluminum, and steel that was unused. Ive sold almost every part from it. Now im workin on a talon.
