  • thank you

  • It makes you wonder what might have happend if they found her or if she had not been able to dial 911.

  • 357 magnum is nice but it seem like the cop don't want you to protect yourself

  • i think if we learn anything form this its that ur adress should b clearly visable from the street

  • okay thank you

  • My friend, who's a police officer, told me they need as much information as they can get so they're not at a gigantic disadvantage when they confront the robbers. Most people robbing a place are armed, he said. The less info police have the higher their disadvantage to the suspects.

OTOH he said the woman shouldn't say anything if she feels at all uncomfortable. He guaranteed that officers will get a message from that alone.

He watched the segment before commenting.

  • you tend to find your more harden criminals robbing houses at night because they dont care about being confronted.

  • my cousin who is a Cop, he would agree with your friend.

  • Recently someone twittered they were going on vacation, so burglars broke into his house. The lesson - don't tell people you're going on vacation

  • LOL Sure Broadcast it all Over the Internet that your going away~ could have been an Axe Murderer Waiting for them to come Home! thats REAL Bright!

  • will u send me the Barracuda Barrage clip it won't let me see

  • I felt the same way about the hostage negotiator when I was a hostage in my bank.

The police never understood why I felt they were the only link to my sanity, but I did.

The guy used me as a shield between himself and police then shot at them.

I've never been so glad that the police don't try to shoot the suspect when a hostage is front of him-the way TV cops do.

  • how scary!!!

  • the phone would probably break in my hand from squeezing it so tight due to so much fear

  • hey can u tell me the name of the episode where two boys were playing tag and one of the little boys pushes the other one into a storm glass door

  • "911 Jagged Edge Rescue" from Episode 425. As far as I know, it's not on youtube.

  • Update: Basckit13 has uploaded "911 Jagged Edge Rescue".

  • hey wat was the one episode someone was talk about it was about a baracada (if thats spelled right).

  • "Barracuda Barrage" from Episode 519. I woman came out on the deck of a houseboat to record her husband catching a barracuda, and the fish jumped out of the water and bit her on the side of her torso.

  • ive never seen that one

  • that's so crazy that someone you think you could trust sets you up like that.

  • why is it when you're trying to sneak around the stairs are always squeaky.

  • okay cool

    wats ur favorite episode?

  • "Niagara River Rescue"

  • are u going to be posting any new episodes i love watching these btw

  • I'm not planning on it, but I may post a few anyone sends some that I don't have.

  • When Kim says "Jany, where are you?" who's she referring to?

  • The cat.

  • "We're trained in that situation to be as quiet as possible."

That's what really ticks me off about 911 operators. They don't freaking get it. You call and give them your address and all of the details, and they act like there is more and more that you need to tell them. While I understand that they are to keep you on the phone as long as they can, in this situation, it's unsafe to talk.

  • They want somebody to keep talking on the phone with someone else in the house who could hear them. How stupid is that? It's not like the operator could do anything through the phone if the suspects hurt the person.

  • They need to make sure the victim is okay and that the victim stays calm, and they also need to stay updated on where the suspects are in the house.

  • I'd be more upset with the dingbat robbers than the people trying to help.

I was in a robbery. No matter what the people trying to help did, the robbers are the only ones to blame for what happens.

If they never robbed the house in the first place, rescuers wouldn't be in the picture.

IMO the robbers are the only ones to blame.

  • this is creepy and scarey all in 1 i live 20-30 mins from andover mass iam getting chills now.

  • the kinda looks like the house from "Home Alone"

  • Not Really.

  • he is lucky he didnt shoot her when she popped her head up if it was me i would have yelled im under the bed when he said he was the police so he would know i was there and be careful even if u tell ur neighbors they might want to rob u too

  • Yes, I aggree about yelling im under the bed, rather then popping your head up. For that house, a security system would fit perfectly. Security systems are great because they can detect an burglary, fire, or medical emergency, sound sirens and flashlighs, and send a signal to a security company to get help, wether you are home or not. Stick with local providers, larger companies like ADT and Brinks can sometimes rip you off buy selling you a cheap system, and then not installing it right.

  • true......

  • Rescue 911 gives us lots of important steps on how to be safe by just giving us episodes to watch. Especially how to be safe and hiding from criminals. When you are invaded/burglarized, just hide in a place like under bed while calling 911.

  • she should have had a gun. I recommend either a Glock handgun or a Remington shotgun

  • did you find any of those videos you were looking for?

  • are you and bealtemoe working together?

  • Yes, we've been trading Rescue 911 episodes with each other since 2003.

  • this aint it either

  • this is really creepy. i live fifteen minutes from andover.

  • Some friend that is-Brtryal!

  • How Did a Blood stain get on the Rug?

  • the offier said it was proably from one of the guys who broke into the window

  • Proubly cut from the broken glass

  • kate stamer is dumb

  • hey police, ever thought of turning the lights on instead of using flashlights

  • Did they know exactly where the burglars were? No. They had to search for the burglars. In a brightly lit room, the burglars, if armed, would have a clear shot at the officers. In a darkened room, the burglars would not be able to clearly see the officers while the officers, with flashlights, can illuminate the burglars in a close and small area thus making them more accurate and more manageable targets. That's why officers are trained.

  • Hey allgood, do you or BeatleMoe have the segment from episode 111 titled "911 Under the Bed?"

  • Yes

  • What Happened In the Segment?

  • It was basically the same scenerio as this segment, except it happened in the morning instead of at night.

  • Could you get it? Plaese? My Grandmother and I really Love the show. We always watch a new one whenever one comes up.

  • that police man was so true, don't tell anybody someones going away unless its your neighbor

  • is this real !! i can't watch the end !! sm1 plz reply x

  • It's a re-enactment of a true story. It has a happy ending, though.

  • Like Unsolved Mysteries.

  • holy f*ck!!! i thought her friend at the end was a guy

  • Holy cow I used to live in North Andover Ma. A paintball gun? are you kidding me if anything all you need to do is pull that on anyone robbing your house and have them shoot you with a real gun when they might not have

  • This frightened me to death. This makes me actually relise how dangerous it is home alone.

  • Thats why you keep a loaded shotgun in the house.

  • wat !!! lol

  • its not real. its a dramatisation, its supposed to make you scared enough to watch again. its not something that happens to everyone. don't get scared and buy enough guns to wipe out a high school

  • thats why i have a paintball gun under my bed

  • oh aren't we well prepared...a paintball gun

  • lmao.

  • Dont need the cops or the guns.....just send in the "pup" ! K9's totally rock !

  • GO DOGgYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • when i worked for ADT i was lucky i never had many incidents

but one night there was a domestic violence in progress and it upset those involved

had a 12 year old girl call in one day frightened at what to do if someone did break in despite the fact nothing had happened yet.

adt was considered a lot less stressful than 911 because we didn't deal with many real incidents on the phone -- we were lucky i guess when i worked there

  • hiding under a car omg thats soo original...

  • This Is 1 Of The Scariest Segments

  • i could not stay home alone with all the lights out. it freaks me out

  • I have a another lock on my front door

  • dude, i totally feel for that girl! several years ago when i was just a freshman in highschool, i was home alone one night and some dude tried breaking into my house! he didnt get in though, bcause either the front porch light sensor came on or the fact that there was an officer a few blocks away when i called 911!

  • thats why u need a gat

  • Scum bags who rob people should be taken out of the food chain permanently.

  • I know her boyfriend is a midget. lol

  • i would have probably had a heart attack

  • I know how to do put the smack down on bad guys

  • i love seeing the bad guys getting busted

  • Metoo

  • if they seen me run upstairs i would lock my door and open the window and hind under the bed to make them think i went out the window like in the cartoons lol

  • Actually, i heard from my stepmother (who's a policewoman) that you shouldn't hide under your bed when there's a break-in because that's usually the first place an intruder would look. the best place to hide would be in a locked room with a phone.

  • Well if the intruder knows you're in the house and is looking for you, then I can see why you might want to hide somewhere else. However, if the intruders are just robbing the house and assuming no one is home, they're probably not going check under the beds. I think a locked door might be more of a give-away that someone was home. There was another episode where a woman locked her bedroom door, and the burglars just kicked it open.

  • yeah, i agree... it actually depends more on the situation, but you just never know.

  • I would just let my fist do the talking

  • omg these r the scary ones!

  • omg, i would lock the door to my room with the phone and hide in my closet if that ever happened to me!

  • She said to the 911 operator that her door didn't lock. I probably wouldn't hide in the closet if I could get under the bed, if someone is robbing the house they're probably going to look in the closet for stuff to steal.

  • scaryyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy

  • It wasn't her boyfriend that helped set up the roberry...hel-LO--do you really think she'd be dating him? *Rolls eyes* But yeah,I thought that I had real crummy friends...boy, do I feel better now! lol How scary that muct have been for her...and how completely messed up that people she had trusted would put her through that!

  • i like the video of rescue 911

  • thanks so much for this

  • This reminds me of something simular that happend to me back in Chattanooga. I was at my grandmother's house, and she asked me to put one of her plants outside on the Patio, and when i pulled back the Curtains, I found myself starreing face to face with a Burglar! of course we both screamed when we saw eachother, only one of us went running over the fence and into the Neighbor's Swimming pool!

  • Haha .... one of them was sent to "juvie"

  • well i have a alarm system in my house

  • I hope it wasnt that friend at the end of the video that helped set up the burgulary.

  • I've seen several ones simular to this. which makes you ask, Why do so many people hide under the Bed?

  • I guess if someone breaks into your house and you're stuck in your room, the closet and under the bed are about the only places to hide. I guess most people go for the bed since burglars are probably going to look through the closets for stuff to steal.

  • What about in The Bathroom? in a Trunk? under a Blanket?

  • I'd be afraid burglars would look in the trunk for somthing to steal. And if the bathroom door were locked, that would be kind of obvious. A blanket would be obvious too, but it worked for that one woman who was on Rescue 911.

  • I've seen that one. I've seen most of them. That was March 18 1992 in Salt Lake City, Utah.

  • Certainly takes the phrase "With friends like these..." to an extreme. I hope her "friend" got dealt the same punishment.

  • this one is like #107 segment 3 because this segment segment 1 #616 I never seen it before.
