à tous les détracteurs et autre nationalistes qui disent que la "wallonie sucks", sachez que cet hymne date de l'époque où la wallonie était la 2ième puissance industrielle MONDIALE en chiffres absolu (juste après l'angleterre) et même parfois première en termes relatifs de 1790 à 1910. L'époque où les paysans flamands qui crevaient la dalle venaient y travailler pour nourrir leur famille et ce dans une atmosphère solidaire et unie. relisez vos livres d'histoire et soyez fiers de votre région.

@Gibrowsky Tu as raison même si en 1790, la belgique n'existait pas encore, la wallonie était une région très riche. En flandre, c'est normal qu'ils étaient pauvre pcq leurs élites sont partis au Pays-Bas lors de la deuxième révolution belge de 1830. Les élites flamandes étaient presque tous protestantes et c'est pour cette raison qui sont partis. Les flamands ont profité de nous durant 150 ans et maintemant qu'ils nous aide depuis quelques dizaines d'années, ils râlent.

par contre je suis wallon je le comprend tres bien mais cela dit celui qui a traduit le texte en français c'est tromper énormément dans la traduction.... il a racourcit des phrase et oublier des mots.. une traduction c'est fait mots pour mots et pas en racourcissant des phrase qui n'ont pas lieu d'être racourcie....

People think Baudelaire was being provocative with his pamphlet 'Pauvre Belgique', but in fact what he wrote holds many truths I still recognize in this country. He built up his disdain, his hatred even for Belgium and especially for Belgian people after two conferences with a Belgian audience, ending up extremely disappointed to so such blunt people.

Actually a must-read, also for those who like Belgium. ;)
