You need to have 2 of your characters junctioned with GFs that have ST-Defx4, Cerberus is one you should have at this point and you can get a Status Guard item from the Shumi Village quest. Then Junction the following magic (hopefully you'll have 100 of these) to Status Defense:

Death

Pain

Confuse

Berserk or Break*

i am currently at disc four and since im trying to get all gfs this time im currently in desperate search for marbolos but since i will pretty much get mah ass handed to me if i go to island closest to heaven(or hell) i cant find malboros anywhere :(

@noasdsaatana Malboros not a GF. And my best guess is go to the forest beside the other island. It just like the one on the video but in another location. Look around, I think you should see it.

@noasdsaatana Well,as long you have Junk Shop abilitie, you can get it. To get Pulse Ammo, play card with someone . Try to get 20 enoyle card and refine it. Need ammo refine ability though. If you refine all your remaining card like I use to do and have no good card. Try to card the monster around Balamb town and you can get rare card from carding monster. If you card Glacial Eye, you may get Jumbo Cactuar. NOTE: Other monster have rare card too. But it take a while.That all I have. :D

Get 20 enoyle card, Card mod it then use Ammo Refine. There Lionheart.!!! :D If you dont have good card, Card balamb town's monster to get rare card. It take a while though. Glacial Eye= Jumbo Cactuar Caterchippilar= Trauma Bite Bug=Elvoret. And monster in the Fire Cave, well, I dont know the rare card for them.

@noasdsaatana  Dragon Skin, well just fight against an Anacondaur , make sure your a high lvl, then he will drop it after the battle. For Moon Stone, I got it from an Imp one time. Go to the Deep Sea Research Facility but you get the Gf Bahumat first to encounter it. Go down after you beat Bahumat and run around till you encounter Imp. Take a while to do that because most of the time, you encounter Grendel and Bomb.

now i already owned bahamut(and got the dragon skins too) but somewhy i cant make it down the hole where you are supposed to fight ultima....but i think ill go see walkthroughs for that so i dont have to bother you anymore thanks for help ^^

I can easily defeat M with only lvl14 squall solo, without doomtrain x4 resistance also. Just equip Drain to stat attack, Break and Confuse to st def, then you're set. Squall will automatically kill Malboro after few hits, lol, don't even need to push a single button. After each hit, Squall hp will raise to 9k7-9999 due to drain effect.

Yeah, lvl 14 squall only. But it's too bad for a no or low level game of course, it will instantly raise squall lvl to 25 or so, but perfect for a normal game.

@knightmage101 In fact technically all you need is defence against Berserk, with Confuse for safety and possibly Sleep to speed things up (and the Item command). Malboro's a pushover really :)

Actually, Molbol or Malboro is quite easy to defeat: In state defense you put stone, sleep, confusión and madness (I didn't play the english version so I don't know the spell names). Or instead of putting sleep you put death. Any other thing is up to you.

I always junction atleast defense against break and have drain attacks. That way, you won't have to worry about turning into stone and your attack will heal you.

Could you please tell me how you got your strength so high? My Squall is lvl 100 and has the Lionheart, with 100 Holy's junctioned to strength, and his strength is only at 134.

You may junction gf w strength bonus ability (and other stats too) but you are already lv 100 so it's useless. Use strength+20/40/60% ability. For each stat some spells are most optimal (ie full-life or curaga for HP, meltdown for vitality, aura or death for luck etc). Try switching magic and see what happens. Some spells are good for any stats like Ultima or Meteor. Collect Pain, Holy, Flare, Meteor, Ultima, Aura, Triple, Death, Curaga, Full-life and at least one of highest elemental.

100 tornadoes onto str is really good and easy to get. Mug those blue birds around deling city for windmills, and refine them into tornadoes. I'm at level 39 on disc 1 with the shear trigger. I also have str + 40%. When I got to lvl 100 on my last playthrough, my attack was 9999.

you can defeating malboro easily

first,qquip your status defense with Berseks,silent,and sleep until 100%

when malboro attacking you with bad breath,you can use 'Esuna" from your magic,after that,use aura to attacking malboro easily with your limit break

Malboro is a plant so it's weak against fire and ice. Junction it to staus attack. Malboro put Squall under berserk status which enhances strength. That's why he and Quistis got doubled their force.

These vegetables were SUCH A BITCH to defeat every single time I met one. I was lucky enough to get a Ribbon(which teaches a GF the Ribbon ability) in the Chocobo side-game. Since the Ribbon ability protects you from all status ailments, I taught it to Siren(who had Treatment), then Junctioned her to Selphie. And every single time the thing used Bad Breath, Selphie was protected and could use Treatment on the other two. SO convienient when you're trying to get Shockwave Pulsar.
