Dont think there has been a crap call (letting a downed fighter be mercilessly pummeled when hes cleary gone) in Pride to my knowledge) Plus there was a silly amount of doctors and ambulances on stand by if anything did go wrong.

@levythao19 i don't think so; knees to the head from the ground helped wrestlers a lot. in ufc many use the fence to get up, in pride they couldn't do that. so it's pretty even, but i like pride rules more, kicks to a grounded opponent are really making a difference in a real fight.

Saku won a UFC tourney back in the late 90s. Against today's fighters, he's got slim chance, but his ground game is NOT to be fucked with by any fighter looking to test it in any org. Wrestling is too sleek, transitions are too easy for him and his subs are pulled out of a hat worn by the gods.. but sadly he's old, fucked up, and his striking defense still sucks.
Both organizations are great regardless. But Dan was a former ufc fighter until he dominate pride but nobody seems to mention that. And wandy can't get a win in UFC which is unfortunate but look who he fights...not one fucking easy fight.
maybe becaue at the time the ufc was not doing so well and they got some good amount of cash for letting chuck fight in pride, now that they got the money they want to basically have a monopoly of mma
