royaLredru many people ignore but we also participated in the war. A small detachment of brazilian soldiers/pilots/sailors ( Brazilian Expeditionary Force - 25.334 men ) were sent to join the US forces at the Italian board (Monte Castelo, Castelnuovo and Montese) to fight the nazi-fascists forces. 465 brazilians were dead but we captured 20.583 enemy soldiers. Nothing compared to more than 20 million soviets lifes lost in the period and to destroy Berlin! My respect to this great country!
