My experience with dell

I order a laptop XPS studio on March this year

In May after a lot of calls asking what happened they send to me an ordinary email saying that is lost in the send.

That I have 2 options, they can send it again or return my money.

I didn want to wait another month so I ask for the money (but it will take 48 days)

However they charge the 3 monthly quotas from my credit card.

Now in August Im still waiting for my money, and the support number..no solutions really useless.

Best off 2 get one from PC World as atleast you can return it with no hassle at all :D

I received my brand new Studio XPS 13 yesterday, spec'd to the max and was excited. It has this exact same wobble issue that your video shows!!! So disappointing.

Further, my screen is warped, like a bent bow/arch shape and as a result doesn't close flush, only one side touches when the screen is closed. You can see the curve of the screen. The top of the screen is dented and scratched, but doesn't appear to be from shipping, it looks faulty.

I've sent them detailed pics, awaiting response

Here in Denmark they collect it on their own from scratch, and test both the software and hardware before a Dell employee drives over to your home and delivers it personally.

I've read the XPS 13 has a tone of problmes with freezing and DPC latency spikes.... have you had any problems? there is a tool you can google called dpc latency checker and it will tell you if you are getting any dpc latency spikes... do you know if you have this problem that so many xps 13 users are reporting? would really appreciate your feedback coz i just ordered one and i want to cancel it before it comes if it's a problem with all of the xps 13 laptops. how's your one?

oh it was so bad that I sent it back to them and told them I will not buy a Dell PC ever again! Wifi performance was super it only worked about 2 meters away from the access point. After 1 hour it gets so hot you can fry eggs on it for breakfast...

tbh, being made in Poland is probably a good thing. At least they can be bothered to work there, here in England you wouldn't hire an English builder if your life depended on it but the fouregn ones are normally in the mood for work because they have families to feed back in wherever they came from

Just got mine and it's absolutely fine. its very solid, and absolutely no problems. Call in and get it replaced, there is no reason why you should pay money for a faulty piece of equipment. Maybe it was damaged in shipping?

hi yea they are sending me a new one however it is gonna take 3 more weeks.

was your made in Poland by any chance? I have seen another 1330 XPS that has this same prblem a part from that it had a faulty hdd in the first week and now it doesnt charge at all - ant its not the charger or the battery. This one I have was also getting extremely hot when turned on for more like an hour and when you put CD it makes sounds like its gonna take off... also wifi only works when no further than 2m from AP

mine did the same thing the first couple of days...stopped doing it today, nice and level now...mine was right front to left back...give it a week before you call anybody...suspect it will be ok
