Or maybe I'm using the wrong kind of paper? The medium just seems to stay wet for longer than it does when I try to paint. Any info is helpful! Thanks!
Great tutorial!! Thanx soooo much for sharing your wonderful skills with us!! Simply beautiful - your technique, finished work ... I just luv how u know exactly what the specific colors & saturation levels will look after it dries! A 5-minute masterpiece! Did u wet the paper at all b4 u started applying color?
Wow, one second, he's just painting and blending the colours, then one second later, you realise the random splosh of watercolours were meant to be exactly where they are and the painting comes together;D
Thank you so much for your tutorial. What is your favorite watercolour brand? I'm unable to get my colors saturated like yours, I'm using Cotman from W&N.
thank you for this some lady on a place called "expert village" ( if you can call it that) showed how to paint the sk and it was awful this is truly amazing im a beginig artis mostly in cartoons but i love this too and wanna get better
Hey Art lovers ! I am a very talented art student and have excellent grades. but i am also a father of three. I request help for art supplies and expenses please. please email me if you wanna patronize me. Any help is welcome
okay, so i'm a beginner in painting && i use watercolor, but i when i insert texture (specifically on the sky), i have trouble with just how much water to use b/c the first layer of the paper starts to tear off as i try to fix it. i use watercolor paper.. but how do you avoid that obstacle?
When you spread the paint on the paper the edges of the clouds just draw themselves. I tried withdifferent kinds of papers and cant get the paint to do that, it either sticks to make sharp edges or runs all the way down the bottom of the paper. what paper do you use and do you wet it before painting?
So pretty! I love this quick cloud painting! I was in painting class at my high school before christmas break, but I had to have surgery and missed the parts about how to paint a landscape, and some how before I return to school I have to come up with a landscape painting, your tips are very helpful and look lovely! I'll have to attempt this with the paints I took home. I don't think they have nice names though, they are just watered down acrylic paints from school...
yes thoroughly enjoyed it! :) i was kinda skeptical at first when i thought u put too much purple on the white clouds but then it looked amazing when its done !
Your video of cloudy summer skies is the best I have seen! I have painted watercolor forever and sell my work too. But I still get so nervous when doing skies and they never look quite right. Thank you so much!
By the way, I didn't understand what kind of yellow you used. Therefore I can't make the color you used to the clouds, is it grey, as you mix the three colours, is it grey? Please answer. Greetings

Finally, just what I have been looking for. It is really helpful to see someone actually paint the sky, in normal speed. I could see how you held the brush, size and type of brush, pressure, mixing. Very helpful Thanks alot. I'll give it a once around.
Awesome job.
