I think hennessy's design on the venom is fabulous. It would seem to be very aerodynamically efficient. Very good idea with going to lotus for the frame design. I think it's about time there is another choice for an american super car other than saleen and aero.

Listen to me. Please. It was all fun and games until you said LS9. A body that radical and distincly European deserves a powerplant worthy only the U.S. can distill. When I saw this concept a while back, I thought it was just an Elise x2...however, the mid-mounted LS9 means 10x the go-juice. The hennessey looks too much like a lotus. I know its on that platform, but they shouldve given it their own styling. Now its basically an 800hp lotus elise....... not an 800hp hennessey. Mr Hennessey, u shouldve looked at Mr Saleen for inspiration when making ur own supercar..... it needed to be uniquely Hennessey....... not a longer wider version of a car I see every day. Because of this it will lose some of its wild supercar image when compared to the SSC and Bugatti etc

Proportions are hard to judge from those shots of the Venom. It will all come down to how the extra length is worked into the design. If they can keep the sides and rear roof from looking stretched, it should work out. So far it looks alright.
