When this album first came out I was a little iffy about it because it wasn't the gorrillaz that I fell in love with and because there were so many colabs, but a few months after I couldn't get enough and it's left me off with wanting more colabs with little dragon :D heres hoping for more

In relation to the Gorillaz, I feel like this song is about Noodle and 2D. This whole CD has a sense of melancholy and nostalgia to it, which I interpret as 2D missing Noodle. "You're by my side, but are you still with me?" - I think he's referring to Cyborg Noodle who, despite looking like Noodle, isn't the real Noodle at all, so he's longing to have her back.
