It's times like this I'm glad I am Canadian. How intolerant can a nation be? Gay/lesbians, whatever genre or sexuality you may be, you have the right to be in love and to be married. I feel sorry for those who can't understand that simple right.
yea, i love being canadian too, but on the same note, we also have laws that are very hateful and discriminatory towards unborn children. trudeau = piece of garbage
OK "irrogant".. You know you could open another page and check your spelling on google, or something, it might help you make your point that others are IGNORANT (or did you mean ARROGANT?).
gay people are better company than mormons because:
1. They're more fun, don't act like stepford people.
2. The average gay conversation is educated & witty.
3. Most mormons are dull (Reading the bible often and taking it literally has that effect on people).
oh pplllleeeaaaasssseeee give me a brake. A marriage is between a man and a woman period. To go about changing the hole meaning behind it is just beyond dumb and irrogant (might have misspelled that one). I don't hate gay people, I just don't agree with the lifestyle, and that's what it is a lifestyle. And that Aunt is probably an old school lesiban anyway. That girl should be ashamed of using her Aunt that way
get real, romeo. No one's campaigning to change what it means, they're campaigning simply for a broadening of the legal definition, which is a completely different thing altogether.
so what if mitt finally got some common sense.if fags want to wed let them move their sorry ass to canada.this country was founded on christianity and not paganism,so get the hell over it
Actually THIS country was based on all men being equal. Not all STRAIGHTS being equal. If you want to live under a Theocracy it's YOU that needs to leave.
Dude, your country was NOT founded on Christianity. It was founded mainly by people who wished to escape the narrowminded, religous communities in Europe. Luckily, Europe has changed a lot since. Now, see if you and your fellow Americans are able to follow the rest of us into a future of respect and love and equal rights for all. Regardless of religion, sexuality and skin color.
You should not assume that just because someone opposes gay marriage means they hate you. My brother is gay and I love him with all my heart but I do not support gay marriage. I do agree that there should be some domestic partnership benefits but that's a different subject. You say Mitt lied? Sorry... Mitt never said he'd support gay marriage. Please don't put words in his mouth that he never uttered.
Romney NEVER has supported Gay Marriage or Civil Unions. He has supported domestic partnership benefits. But when Mitt said he'd be a stronger advocate for gays and lesbians, he in no way mean, "I'm in favor of legalizing Gay Marriage." In fact, during Mitt's 1994 run, he stated then that he was not in favor of Gay Marriage. He never has been.
ok, I got you then, we gave him too much credit. He was actually consistent in his intolerance and bigotry. He will be right up there with Bush, and equally averse to diplomacy in foreign policy.
"This is a subject about which people have tender emotions in part because it touches individual lives. It also has been misused by some as a means to promote intolerance and prejudice. This is a time when we must fight hate and bigotry, when we must root out prejudice, when we must learn to accept people who are different from one another."
"Like me, the great majority of Americans wish both to preserve the traditional definition of marriage and to oppose bias and intolerance directed towards gays and lesbians." - Mitt Romney
I have nothing against homosexuals, but believe its not natural and marriage is between one man and one woman.
Mitt Romney 2012!

The exception to this list: gay mormons.
