@Durokdtrain 18 year old rookie who tops out at 6'8 and 222lbs. ya most rookies ar 6'1 195 so myers had a size advantage which heled him to adapt easier to the nhl. howard was in ahl and each year he had a losing season with a subpar 2.78 goals against average. them comes to nhl playing for wings which is difficult because of their injuries and giving up 30+ shots a game. where howard wins 15 out of 16 to get to playoffs. while finishing in top 10 for all goalie categories. shouts calder trophy!

Fact is Myers had absolutely zero pro experience and earned his way into a top defence pairing on a solid team. HOward (whom i admit is a solid goaltender) had four years of pro experience in the AHL and a bit in the NHL and was backstopping one of the best teams in NHL.

Statistically, Crosby is a fantastic player; one of the best in the league. Here is my problem with his attitude, though:
1. He cried like a little bitch when the Wings won the cup in 08
2. He initially "forgot" to shake hands with the Wings when he won the cup in 09
3. Though his team is looking good, and they practically have clinched a playoff spot, after the Wings had this game in the bag, he had to throw a tantrum and cross-check Hank all those time for no good reason. What a good sport.

Pens won in 2009 and before that back to back in the early '90's. and one of them against the Hawks! Chicago hasn't won since '61. The Caps- never??? But at least the Caps were in the finals in '98.

As for the Leafs- At least they weren't the worst team in the league this year!

The Caps are extremely good this year. Being good doesn't make a team a powerhouse. Being consistently good year after year, that makes a team great. The Habs and the Leafs were powerful at one time, but not so much in the last decade. The Wings are a powerhouse, but that's slowly changing.
