Hello - I am so glad to chat with you! I am an advocate for connecting students with speech-language pathologists. On-line therapy is an effective and engaging solution. ASHA and CASLPA have documentation available that helps SLPs provide ethical and professionally appropriate on-line therapy. My students always have an involved adult with them in the therapy room. The parents and teachers have access to the on-line backpack! They can view video clips, practice activities, and notes. :)

I am also a speech and language pathologist and have thought about doing online therapy with clients. It is a bold idea, in light that ASHA ethics says that one must "see" a client, not advise online. You are "seeing" client online. Are the parents their to advise on practice.
