I want to connect two effects processors to the amp's effects loop, to work in series when active
1 (Harmonizer) first in line (in mono)
2 (reverb delay etc multi effects) second in line (in mono)
can I connect these to the RG-16 (or Rack Gizmo) in such a way that the harmonizer can be switched completely out of the circuit when not in use, but still have the multi effects unit in the circuit using loops 5-8 on the RJM?
@watchtheskies Yes, the RG-16, Rack Gizmo, Mini Effect Gizmo and Effect Gizmo all can do that, no problem. Which one you would choose depends on what else you need to switch in addition to those two effects.
@rjmmusic , Hi there, I'll be using pedals in front of the amp (Orange Rockerverb MkII) and also amp channel switching, so the Rack Gizmo looks like a great solution for me, It should do everything I need :)
Right im thinking of getting the RG-16 and using the Voodoo Lab Ground Control Pro as the Midi floorboard. My only question is that i have the Boss DD-20 Twin delay Pedal that has 5 programmable settings. Would this set up recognise which of the settings on my delay pedal I am using when I make the setting on my RG-16 and floorboard?
I have a question. I have a Mesa Dual Rectifier 3 channels. Can I use the footswitch cable as the amp function cable on the RG-16 to manage the amp functions?
@orpheus06 Our cable has circuitry in it that allows it to "fake" the amp into thinking it's the amp's footswitch. The original footswitch cable won't work for this purpose.

@ibanezfaz Only if the Boss DD-20 has a midi input, which I don't think it does.
