  • for cia drug running ops

  • This is not a robot to use for transporting troop supplies; there is six-wheeled vehicle that was developed for that. What you are looking at is a version of a military cyborg canine. No need for decades of genetic breeding anymore. All you have to do now is upgrade and slap a turret gun on top.

  • its not funny, this shits real these fuckers are made to kill us when all hell breaks lose no fucking jokeman this shit is straight, they will release hundreds of thousands of them there armed with unlimited amo

  • @deadskinmaskx Riiiight... A unit approximately 2 meters long by 1 meter high which is mostly legs is going to contain unlimited ammunition... If they were to release thousands of them... that would be the hell breaking loose, not the cause of them releasing it. Would probably take one decent EMP to fuck that army up.

  • its obviously two guys in black pants carrying this and someone edited out thier upper bodies. :P

  • 1:29

Is it carrying a bag of Dunkin Donuts?

    xD

  • I'd be well freaked out if i saw one of them coming for me!

  • some body!! paste GW bush face on the front of it!! i cant take it. too funny!!

  • HAHAHA yeah!! put George W Bush's face on it!! ill consider myself reborn if i see a video of that!! rofl

  • kreepy!

  • legs look scary. the kick and reaction was tight though.

  • To jotux,

Is it okie if I download this video and show it to my students? I'm sharing with them more about robots.

Just wonder if there's any copyright issue?

  • the things noisy but it's really cool design.

  • i didnt think it was that big of a deal...until it was pushed and it did no fall..that showed how good this thing is....it anoys me to look at the legs they just dont seem normal lol cool

  • Is this the future of warfare? Robots assisting troops in battle?

I fear the day when they develop robots capable of conscious thinking, and this seems to be a step in the wrong direction..

  • put a face on the front of it....

  • That is quite possibly the scariest thing ive ever seen.

  • nice but whats that fucking buzzing sound?

  • diesel engines. gives me a fucking headache too.

  • when i look at that robot i think about metal gear solid 4

  • that is fu**ing awesome sorry i cant say any thing more intelligent but it is! fastest waliking robot ive ever seen and can correct itself.

  • initialy I thought it was pair of two skinny

guys bent over, dancing or so..!

  • damn that thing is loud! hope thats not going to be rescuing the injured. they might shoot themselve bc of the noise.

but besides that, this looks to be the platform of very new and interesting realm of robotics!

  • Scary!!

  • they just need to use a four stroke engine instead of a two so it doesn't sound like that

  • bad ass

  • WTF!?!?!?!?!?

  • LOL that would be awesome if the robot stood up and beat the shit out of the guys who kicked it.

  • Now get that bastard in the red jacket!

  • how much can it hold? could it hold a full-grown man? if so, i'd freakin get one! so awesome! take that, Japanese engineering!

  • freaky shit

  • C'mer Boy! C'mer! Good Doggie!!

  • so cool the way it recovers though :D

  • The noise needs to be sorted out though...it's loud and annoying.

  • a small 2 stroke engine running is running a hydraulic pump, the hydraulics are actuated by the control system. As the amount of energy that can be stored in one kilo of gasoline is much much greater than what can be stored in one kilo of battery. in the last shot where it is being tested inside the cables running from the robot are hydrualic hoses and most likely monitoring wires hence no engine noise, as it is being fed pressure from an electric pump

  • Understood but still annoying as hell and not good for creeping up on an enemy....an I still think they should scale it up and make an imperial walker out of it ;)

  • what

  • =| wha-???

  • In short, thing is hydraulically operated, hydraulics although they allow for huge amounts of force in small packages are not very efficient at all, and they also require a pump and motor. because of this, there isn't a lot of room for batteries and such so it has to be gasoline powered, as gasoline can store enormous amounts of chemical energy verses a battery of the same weight.

  • I would put a throne on it then I would feel like a lazy king, just riding around.

  • Or scale it up, armour it and add some guns and you've got an imperial walker :)

  • How cool would it be to take that thing for a walk on a leash down the main street where you live

  • That would be so cool.

  • nightmares =(

  • Robot with four legs and some seriously long fart.

  • Holy wow. How it gets back up is similar to a horse, so it sorta looks like a horse with machinery over it. Its really creepy too.... the legs and all...

  • Wow!!! how long did it take to make it work?

Poor the "dog"! yeah but it's amazing that it keeps itself up. Thanks for sharing

  • that looks so creepy. if u keep looking at the legs.

makes it look so cruel lol. yet its sooo freakin cool

especially the self stabilization ai on the machine is incredible.
